We are just home from our fourth annual camping trip to Gellibrand, as part of a much bigger group (up to 18 families) who combine camping with cabins. My family camp in a camper trailer and we absolutely love this park. The sites are green and grassy, lots of trees, very lush and soft. The bathroom amenities are always spotless...

The caravan park is in a great location, across the road from a general store, a walk away from a pub and has access to a rail trail fir bike rides. The park has a small camp kitchen, swimming pool and the sites are huge and shaded and very green. We had an ensuite l site which was great.

While the area is beautiful and the hosts are friendly the park would be more suited to camping in summer. As a camper I am not so fussed by cabins being old but this one was very disappointing. Cabin 3, booked as a luxury / deluxe was very far from either of these descriptions. It was warm enough and there...

Hi Karen, Thank you for your review, I did not have the pleasure of meeting you but chatted to your husband a few times. Let me state that in the main your concerns are warranted, we have started remedying the more serious ones already. Your concerns about the gas stove is particularly relevant. We are disappointed that our staff did...

We stopped in here for two nights on our way to melbourne.the winter special is awesome. So very cheap for me and 3 kids. The cabin is nice and the surrounding areas are lovely. Its close to everything in the area and the food in the dining area is delicious. Their snittys are huge and one fed 2 of us....

We stayed here several years back and had a great stay that time. Unfortunately on this occasion the opposite was true. We booked a "deluxe cabin" for $140 per night. we were put into C6, which is opposite the dump point (we were unlucky enough to have someone use it just as we were unpacking the car and it stank!)....

We have often taken our caravan and stayed at Gellibrand because it is so close to everything in the Otways. Just left there today with blue sunny skies and not a breath of wind after 4 days of fairly cold and damp weather. It really doesn't matter what the weather, this place is gorgeous. When we arrived,we discovered that there are new...

Hi Rhonda and Vlad, Thank you very much for your kind review. We, my wife Dorthe and myself, have recently semi-retired after running the Park for 16 years. We chose Linda and Shane, who we have known for many years, to be our managers and judging by your review, they are doing a great job which we knew would be...

We have stayed at this gorgeous little park multiple times to visit my grandparents, who are both in their 90's now & unable to have us stay. It is the perfect stop over, whether road tripping through the Otways or spending some time in Gellibrand itself, & one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. We had booked a two bedroom cabin,...

Stayed in a one bedroom cabin. Cooking facilities a bit limited. No baking tray a very basic cutlery. For simple expectations, this was a good cabin. A bit of a shame the windows are not bigger so unless outside it feels a bit dark. Pillows were good, bed average. The park is great with the availability of fire pits to...

Off the great ocean road This park is on the way to Colac. Grassy shaded sites, good facilities plus a bistro. Great tucker at excellent prices. Store has supplies including beverages. Pool on site and the park is adjacent to the Old Beechy Rail Trail.

  • ladder doesn't fit the bed and this was with it up against the wall so no more room to move
