We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful mill which has been restored and brought back to life by its owners, Dianne and Ian. Other guests have paid tribute to the beauty of the mill and the gardens and to the craftsmanship and attention to detail that has gone into the restoration. We would like to add our admiration for what...

We stayed 3 nights in this relaxing and comfortable B&B. We arrived that day from the New Castle Ferry and a tour throughout the Yorkshire Dales, which we enjoyed thoroughly. Dianne maid us feel at home immediately. After tea with cakes we could relax in the large lounge with a glass (of our own) wine. The breakfasts were delicious and...

The restoration work done by this couple to this most precious building and its surrounds is nothing short short of heroic. The...

From the eggs at breakfast with yolks of the deepest yellow, kindly provided by 'the girls', to the best nights sleep I've ever had in a guest house this place worked its magic on us leaving us fully relaxed and refreshed. Ian and Diane were perfect in every way and I really didn't want to go home!

From our arrival to leaving, we were made extremely welcome and felt very much at home. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms extremely nice, the food excellent. All this in a beautiful property with a fascinating history, in a secluded hamlet with lovely views.
