My first homestead experience....and it turned out to be awesome 😊 Quamby Homestead is a cosy place tucked away about 30mins drive from Warrnambool town. Hosts, William & Ailsa are a lovely couple, very kind and helpful. Ailsa was very kind to help us contact the local tour. My family and I, total 10 adults & 2 children rented the...

We really enjoyed our stay at Quamby Homestead, it is just so peaceful. Being autumn, the gorgeous Quamby garden was displaying all it's spectacular autumn colours. I would love to be there when the roses are in full bloom. The Mews room that we stayed in was very tasteful & comfortable. The bed was very cosy (10/10) for an accommodation...

A lovely country B&B. Beautiful older style buildings but with the internal rooms recently renovated and comfortable. We stopped here for one night on our road trip between Melbourne and Adelaide. Since the B&B is a little out of town, we ate dinner early before heading to check in so we didn't have to drive out again. The hosts were...

My parents Travel Agency from France booked us in for one night as we were driving from Great Ocean Road to Kangaroo Island. A very different set up than the beaches when you come from Torquay & Apollo Bay. However it is good to see what the countryside looks like. It is a fair bit of drive from the beach...

Visited Quamby again with our daughter who lives in Melbourne. We stayed in the Carriage House which is self catering. It was very well equipped and spacious and ideal for our purposes. We were looked after very well and the gardens were beautiful. We visited both Port Fairy and Warnambool while there, both an easy 20/25 minutes drive away. A...

My friend and I stayed at Quamby for 3 nights while exploring the Great Ocean Road in November 2014. We absolutely loved the place for its beautiful grounds and cooling tranquillity. William and Ailsa were also excellent and attentive hosts, and couldn't make us feel more welcome. We stayed at the Mews room, which was charming and well kept. We...

Stayed here for one night on a holiday heading towards the GOR. Beautiful homestead with stunning grounds. William and Ailsa were the perfect hosts. We were in the Schoolhouse - large and nice views to the dam. William also showed us the Mews rooms and they too were very nice just smaller. Cooked and Continental breakfast was excellent and good...

Quamby Homestead, located just 25mins from Warrnambool and Port Fairy, is an idyllic stopover between the Great Ocean Road and the Grampians and en route to Adelaide. This historic (built in 1888) 4 Star homestead offers the opportunity to soak up some history whilst enjoying fine accommodation in the serenity of a 3-acre garden setting. Guest rooms are set within the botanic gardens, separate from the Homestead and all with private entrances. For a short visit, stay in one of the five Mews Rooms with Queen or twin single beds, and our family suite for 4 people. Or for a longer break the original School House and the converted 2 bedroom Carriage House offer the space to relax and unwind. The rooms, all located within the garden, have different outlooks - garden, farmland or the dams and farmland.
