We were charmed by Baraka and its owner Anahid from the moment we arrived. She made sure our check in was swift so we could go out and experience this amazing little town. Since we only had one night in Ronda, Anahid made sure we knew all the spots to visit, including some obscure but amazing sights we surely would...

The B&B is ideally located close to everything in the town, but on a beautiful cobblestone street, away from the busy main road. The B&B was very quaint with lots of touches throughout. The real highlight was Anahid, who really took the time to visit with her guests and ensure that they have the best stay possible. We loved our...

Just 2 minutes away from the Puente Nuevo and across from the Casa del Rey Moro and it's beautiful gardens, this quaint B&B is a gem. I loved the personal touches evident throughout the place, and the rooftop terrace was perfect for an evening drink. Rooms were comfortable, breakfast was great, kettle and tea/coffee making supplies are available in the...

We were met at Baraka by its owner and very charming hostess Anahid Blannin, who made our short stay in Ronda such a pleasant one. The building itself is one of those “typical” Andalusian houses built around a small internal patio that is all tiles and greenery, with a lovely rooftop terrace. There is one suite, and two double bedrooms,...

We were very disappointed with this place having read all the great reviews. The main reason was when we arrived, the owner was not there. I had emailed her and told her the time of our arrival so this was not a good start. I called her and she said she would arrive soon but we had to wait about...

We agree with the praise and descriptions already posted on this website. We'll only add a few notes. Anahid has lived in the Bay area and she displays the personal attention and provides the amenities that one finds in most California B&Bs. A few small details that illustrate: a booklet in the room provides suggestions and prices for services and...

We stayed four nights at Baraka and it felt like home. It was the perfect location from which to explore and experience both the old town and the new, whilst enjoying the tranquillity once the day trippers had left for the day. Being able to take the train to Granada for the day to visit the Alhambra was an unexpected...

Dear Rob and Rose I also appreciated your appreciation of Baraka and my services. I very much enjoyed your stay and over 4 days i felt a friendship develop, specially during the football game (was it Spain vs France?) which I won't forget. Hope you have settled and back on routine (or maybe I shouldn't say that:-) Thanks again and...

As soon as we walked through the door we knew we were going to love our stay in Ronda. The colourful courtyard was very charming and attractive. Anahid, our hostess was not able to meet us on arrival but the instructions were welcoming and we soon made ourselves at home. The rooms were exceptionally tidy and every amenity provided even...

Dear Jeff Thank you for taking the time to write such a 'delightful' review! I'm glad you appreciated Baraka and its cakes! I enjoy traveling myself and tried to create a space for travelers that was comfortable and a little different. Hope all's well with you and yours. Thanks again. Anahid

Great location at the edge of the old town. Pretty room with double beds, artistic touches, a small table with a kettle to make tea and coffee, windows with shutters, a ceiling fan, and a pleasant bathroom. Breakfast needs improvement, not because of its content (although it was a simple breakfast), but because of its location. This B & B...

For all travellers who like a place with charecter, full of artistic charms, amazing books, pictures and memories, Baraka is Anahid's house which she has graciously let us experience as a home away from home. Throughout the stay we felt we were living through her aesthetics, pictures, books and memories. Especially in the wonderul suite where the windows overlook cypress...

Dear Jaya The phrase 'beauty is in the eyes of the beholder' has never been truer than in your words to describe Baraka. You got out of it what was within you. Nevertheless, your words made me very emotional. Thank you. You are blessed with a lovely family. In fact I was thinking of you yesterday and was telling one...
