Myself and a friend stayed here for 2 nights in October. Everything was absolutely exceptional- excellent food, beautiful rooms and lovely hosts who were incredibly helpful. The house is in a really picturesque setting in the hills outside Ronda, great for hiking and the pool was perfect for a morning swim! I definitely recommend and will try my very best to get back at some point
Beautiful, relaxing, kind, best service, excellent food, great recommendations about everything. Simple the best. Cozy, stunning landscapes, easy to come and go while exploring the area. The owners and all of the staff are so nice and accommodating. They all love what they do!
We stayed at Hotel Fuente de La Heguera for 3 nights in October 2020 and absolutely loved every bit of it. Not only was the location exquisite, with views over the Ronda hills, but the whole experience was expertly delivered by the personable owners and staff. The room we stayed in (Classic Suite) was perfect, the cuisine was simply amazing and the location all 5 Stars! We will most definitely be back.
My family and I (two adults and two children aged 4 and 1) stayed here for one week in February and it was great. When going on a trip with kids at these ages, I think in general you have two options: (1) go somewhere not all that nice that is designed for keeping kids busy (and therefore with a lot of other kids around); or (2) go somewhere really nice but which doesn't "specialize", let's say, in catering to little kids. By coming here we chose #2. The place is beautiful (the rare place that looks just as good if not better than the photos), the service is great, the food is delicious, and the rooms are really nice. About that kids vacation choice above: this place is great for relaxing and if it had been just my wife and me, there's not really anything more that we could have asked for. Since it wasn't, though, I should say that it's not the greatest place for entertaining little kids especially if you're staying a whole week. There's the pool, and the weather was nice while we were there, but since it still got cold at night (it was February after all) the pool was just much too cold to swim in. We went for some walks, we drove into some of the nearby towns. That being said, however, the staff were absolutely amazing and did whatever they could to help make our vacation enjoyable for us and our kids. One really nice thing is that the chef made a "kids style" dinner around 6:00 so they could eat, we could put them to bed, and then come back for our dinner around 8:30. That worked really nicely and they didn't charge us anything for that extra work (chef came in early, cleaning our table twice, ...). Christina helped keep my daughter occupied and feel special by doing things like picking lemons and then making lemonade in the kitchen with her, and bringing toys for our son. Summary: beautiful hotel, good food, great location. Would definitely go again but is probably a place that you would enjoy more without very small children. Again, though, the staff did an excellent job of making things as comfortable as they could be for us and my daughter has asked numerous times since we've been back home, "can we please go to the same Spain again"? (she means the hotel)... :D…
I enjoyed two nights at the inn. My room was quiet, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The hosts took time to introduce themselves and make sure my needs were being met. The restaurant was wonderful, with lovely views across the valley below.
