I was charmed by by public areas of this small hotel located in the old town of Ronda. Our GPS found the hotel easily just off the main road over the "new bridge". Parking is not available at the hotel but you can unload your luggage first and check in before parking several blocks away. The staff at the front...

We spent the last three nights of our Andalusia tour at this delightful 20 room hotel. More of a home from home with cosy sitting room with a library of books in many languages. Our bedroom was on two levels with our own sitting area and bathroom. The breakfast is simple, buffet style, with really good coffee and Earl Grey...

This is a great hotel in the old part of Rhonda. It is a bit of a challenge to find, and the parking is not next to the hotel so you have to be able to be able to walk a little from the hotel to the parking. Small narrow streets make it interesting to get around, but once you...

What can I say? The cost was quite reasonable, the hotel has an old-time elegance that reminded me of Central Mexico, the room was clean and decent-sized, and the bed was comfortable (a rarity for our Spain hotels). The location is perfect--close to the Puente Nuevo, close to the Plaza Maria Auxiliadora and its impressive views, a short walk to...

Excellent value for money good clean warm accommodation , great breakfasts more than helpful staff. Well placed in Old Town sector, nice and quiet but close to busy shops and bars. Would certainly recommend. Parking arranged in town car park, safe and secure. This hotel is a typical old house full of history.

Some hotels are very nice but after a couple of years , you forget that you have been there ; this is not the case with Hotel San Gabriel ! This hotel has personality ! It is located in one of the oldest areas of Ronda , close to both the Cathedral and the famous bridge and the building itself...

Perfect location in the middle of the old town. Outdoor parking a few hundred meters away. A building with a lot of atmosphere. Large room but not that big bed. We would have liked some additional pillows. Anyway, a place we definitely can recommend.

A charming boutique hotel, well-located for exploring Ronda. Parking was fairly convenient and inexpensive. Breakfast was very inexpensive at the hotel but was also a pretty spare offering. The beds and pillows could have been a little softer, but in all, a great place to spend a couple of nights. Lovely staff people.

Anyone who's been to Ronda will tell you it's a gem and a place to savour. Well, this is the place to savour while you're there. To begin with, location; It's right in the old town on a streetlet (meaning a small car can get through to it but go no further without a stiff drink and pull the mirrors...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This carefully restored building dates from the 18th century and lies in the most historic district of Ronda, surrounded by ancient monuments.Retaining much of its original charm, the San Gabriel still displays an attractive stone façade and the coat of arms of one of its former owners. Spend a quiet moment in the library corner or in the typically Andalusian courtyard, full of plants and a trickling fountain. Here you can start the day with the hotel’s delicious breakfast. You can also enjoy a film in the intimate cinema room, which includes red velvet seats taken from the city’s old cinema. Combined with its privileged location, the hotel facilities make this a truly authentic Spanish setting for your holiday in rural Andalusia. ... more   less
