Fantastic family holiday for families with kids of all ages. Stayed in 3 bedroom mobile at Bella Italia campsite which was very comfortable and had all self catering facilities. On site swimming pools suited to small kids with slides for older kids. Restaurants, bars, supermarket all on site. Bike rent and boat tour bookings also on site. Immediate access to lake shore also, with water said to be at 20 degrees and very comfortable to swim or to just walk to cool down. One thing to watch out for is high temperatures. Low to mid thirties during afternoon when we visited.

Such a charming and friendly campsite, well managed and with good facilities. Lovely 17m pool with lifeguard. We appreciated the free ride to and from the beach, free WiFi and chilled glass of Pinot Grigio on arrival!! Only staying 2 nights, wish it was longer. Thanks to all for a great stay!

This year a holiday other than the others: camping !!!!! Good experience. The campsite is the Bellavista, in Albenga. The owner is Dutch but speaks Italian very well, the camping is not very well maintained but is very quiet, clean bathrooms and pool, young but friendly staff. A big neo is so much attention to Dutch campers with evenings organized for them. It could organize evenings with "themes" to involve everyone.

Appreciate it was peak holiday time and it was full, but this was not my kind of campsite. Lots of families renting cabins for the whole season bringing along their satellite TV and pot plants; plus people on holiday who never leave the campsite and just use the onsite facilities (there is a good pool); queues for the shower and toilets that are dirty due to the dusty ground. Probably a great place if you have young kids as it's a safe, small campsite full of young families. However we have teenagers who want to get out and about, plus I can never see the point of going on holiday and spending a week or two marooned on a dusty campsite.

Owned and run by very helpful and cheerful people. Out in the sticks a little. The shower cubicles are rather small,I opted to use the disabled one as the others were just too small for me. Hot water is only guaranteed for the showers at certain times of the day due to solar heating. Can be rather noisy when residents of the chalets come for the weekend.
