I was here Sept 2017 and spent 2 days. They have 2 restaurants and a pool side bar. There pizza was NY style and I enjoyed it as it was brick oven pizza. They have a nice selection of wine for those who enjoy a...More
First, I will say the good things, the positive ones. It’s a nice and quiet place; good pool; SPA tub; free WIFI; TV, pet friendly; microwave; refrigerator; complementary coffee in the morning, nice room, during the day, before 5:00 pm, nice and friendly staff, that’s...More
Lazy Parrot was a charming basic accommodation. Based on our experience here are my thoughts:
-Good location close to beaches and many restaurants
-On-site restaurant and bar (which we did not try)
-There is a pool which seem to be popular with children
I booked this Hotel because it looked awesome in pictures, yet it was SO deceiving. First, no front desk after 5pm... second, the parking was at the other side of the street and it was totally messed up and on a cliff... third, no type...More

This was the cleanest and friendliest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. A gem of a hotel on a beautiful hilltop. The pool, bar, and Mi Familia Pizzeria were wonderful. When you park and enter you don’t know that this 22 room is an enclosed oasis....More

Hi Vicki! As long as you are an experienced surfer, Domes Beach is extremely popular and is less than a 10 min drive from the Lazy Parrot Inn. We saw dozens of surfers there having lots of fun. On your way to Domes Beach, there is a small bar/grill called The Beach House where you can rent surfboards and other equipment. Sandy Beach is very close to the Inn but when we were there in early Feb, there weren't any surfers. Don't know why though because there were a lot of large waves far enough away from the beach.

GPS should work fine although it is on a road that can be easy to miss which is 413 (the road to happiness). You will be on 115 coming into Rincón, when you go under the huge welcome arch on 115 you will be almost there. You will go thru a big curve to the right and then 413 will be on the next big curve on the right and it shoots right up a hill. Try checking out Google maps of the area. Once you get on 413 you will not have a problem. Lazy Parrot will be on the left sitting between a surf shop and a bakery. Just drive slow after the welcome to Rincón sign and watch for the first road on the right that goes straight up a hill.
