This was my first visit to Hat Head and it didn't disappoint. We stayed on a powered site close to the bowling club and we were very happy with the park. Facilities are clean, easy walk to the beach and river, great fishing, beautiful walks and friendly staff. Kids loved the park and even though it was busy over the...

The park is located centrally with easy access to the beach, creek, walking tracks and general store/bowls club. The facilities are excellent (clean toilets and hot showers with good water pressure) however, they don't close for cleaning at the listed time. General atmosphere is quiet with only birds disturbing the peace. Some of the staff are quite condescending and rude...

We stayed 11 nights here with our 22ft caravan. Our site was in an unusual spot but was close to an amenities block and the beach/creek access. The park is nice however we found the office staff to be hit and miss in terms of friendliness/helpfulness. It is such a beautiful place and we will return to enjoy the surrounds.

The location of the holiday park is amazing but the cabins are a bit run down. For caravans and tents it is good. Amenities are fine. Short walk to the beach and creek for swimming. 2 general stores as well for takeaway. Short drive to south west rocks for supermatket.

Hat Head itself is a lovely spot. The caravan park depends on this. The facilities are pretty grubby and the staff not overly helpful or friendly. If you can put up with $40 per night shoulder season then it is an OK park. Shame as the area is really good.

Never been to this area before and I found this park to be brilliant, it is isolated from Kempsey the main town and situated right on the beach and on an estuary that on high tide is just gorgeous to swim in. Nestled behind hills and semi protected from wind, the amenities are always Clean and bbq facilities also' I...

We stopped at Hat Head Holiday Park for overnight stay in November 2016. We have a large van and found the caravan site too small. When asked if we could over lap and take the front and rear site, we were told by Management and staff we would have to pay for two sites. As it a large park and...

Dear Sir/Madaam We are sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay. We cannot by law allow you to cross two sites. It is against NSW regulations which we must adhere to. As you have stated the park is very large and I am sure we would have happily accommodated you on a larger site. The reason there are separate...

The Hat Head holiday park / campground is spacious with a choice of varying site options. We camped along the river on an unpowered site which meant you only have the bush and river on one side of you creating a feeling of being outdoors. Plenty of birds and visiting kangaroo along the river, plus a friendly pet rabbit hops...

Gr8 place to relax and get back to nature while still having your creature comforts of hot showers and toilets. Kids can run wild and enjoy the outdoors in a safe environment. Easy on the pocket. Would recommend this place to all.
