We stayed here for 2 nights & it was the perfect base for us while we explored the Ring of Kerry & the Gap of Dunloe. It reminded us of Days Inns in the states, nice property with plenty of amenities. They even have laundry service, which we appreciated. Big room. A little outside of town, which is fine if you have a car, plus it's more quiet.

Booked this place last minute for me and my girlfriend and found it was basic but for the price I found it great value! The lady at reception was very nice checking in and out and breakfast was hot and enjoyable! Good value for money

We recently celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary by spending 3 nights at this hotel. It was about 10 minutes drive from Killarney, but this wasn’t a problem as we knew that before we booked. We arrived considerably earlier at the hotel than we anticipated and hoped to leave our bags at the hotel while we went into town. However, our room was ready and it was no trouble at all for the staff to book us in. We had a suite overlooking the lake (well, you could just see it in the distance!), but it was a lovely, spacious bedroom with en-suite and TV and then a separate living room with TV and kitchenette area containing a fridge, microwave and all essential cutlery and crockery. We had a superb meal in a Thai restaurant in town for our anniversary, a meal in the pub next door who were showing the football and a meal in the hotel restaurant. The food was really good and nicely presented. My only criticism of the whole stay was the bathroom!! The hand towels were lovely and thick, but unfortunately the bath towels were so thin that as soon as they were wet you could see right through them - and they were only slightly bigger than the hand towels! The shower was a great power shower. However, the curtain was so flimsy that you spent the whole showering experience unwrapping yourself from the curtain!! It was an unnecessary battle every morning. Apart from that, a good experience at a lovely hotel.

Friendly staff and well located for a Ring of Kerry trip but be aware this hotel is about a 5 min drive from the main town. Lots of parking on site. Clean and spacious rooms, comfortable bed and decent breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is close to the main golf club, around 5 minutes in the car, therefore suited our needs. The distance from the main town was a bit tedious though. The food was good, and reasonably priced, breakfast followed the usual formula, was good quality, and plentiful. Front desk staff friendly and obliging.
