The warm welcome we received from Joan and Tony impressed us even more than our very comfortable -- and spotless -- room. Joan's full Irish breakfast was excellent. Don't pass up the soda bread! The location is a bit out of the way, but Joan will drive guests to restaurants or pubs, then arrange for a taxi back so that...

A quaint little bed and breakfast in a quiet area. Not too far from Kerry Airport. The owner gave us a choice which room we wanted because there was only a couple of other people staying there. Room was cozy with private bathroom. The owner was very friendly and helpful and cooked a wonderful breakfast for us.

Stayed here for 3 nights as flew to Kerry to climb Carrauntoohil, arrived to a lovely welcome by the owner, and showed us to our room, the room was lovely and comfortable, spotlessly clean, breakfast was delicious- beautiful soda bread, and fresh juice, good location for Killarney town, about a €10 fare in taxi, and not far from Kerry Airport...

This is a lovely, cosy B&B, not too far from Killarney town centre (a mere 10 minute drive). Joan and Tony were wonderful hosts. We initially booked for 1 night, ended up staying an additional night. Everything was perfect and the breakfast was top notch. Highly recommended.

I always tend to rate a hotel on the breakfast. This was therefore one of the best - fantastic full breakfast with all the trimmings, juices, yoghurt, cheeses plus a real fry up. Joan was tireless in her efforts to satisfy us and with great suggestions of where to go and what to see. Rooms were B & B style,...

Spectacular atmosphere, nice views towards the Irish countryside, nice and tidy rooms, comfy bed, and the breakfast is just amazing! Joan was a great hostess! She made a fantastic full Irish breakfast with all the fixings. The rooms were clean and decent sized. The price was extremely reasonable and it was easy to check in and out. The B and B was in a great location to do things in Killarney or start a journey on the Ring of Kerry....

We loved this place especially Joan the owner who made you feel right at home, and her kids were great too. The room was really cosy and felt like you were staying with friends. The location was great and would base ourselves here and stay longer to explore the area next time. We had terrible weather so need to come...

Joan and her family were excellent hosts! They helped us with transportation and advice about the area. The rooms were comfortable and nicely kept, and breakfast and coffee in the mornings was great. We felt very well looked after and would recommend anyone a stay at Douglasha House.
