Just returned following a two night stay at Loch Lein Country House hotel. We stayed here last year and didn't have to think twice about booking for this year at this wonderful place. Paul and Annette are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble them. They go above and beyond to make your stay special. We had a lovely cooked breakfast each morning before heading out to discover some of the magnificent views and sites around the Kerry area. The rooms are spotlessly clean with some of the most comfortable beds I've stayed in, along with the all-important high quality pillows. There was an iron and ironing board in the room, along with bottled water, however the only thing missing was a kettle to make a cuppa, which was no big deal and I'm sure Annette or Paul would provide a cuppa on request. We will be back and hopefully very soon!!

Paul, Annette and everyone at Loch Lein took great care of us during our 2-day stay at Killarney as part of our Ireland ring road self-drive trip. They personally welcome us and also bid us farewell. Paul provided helpful advice with useful maps, on how we can maximise our driving itinerary to visit the best of Killarney and where we can dine in. Staying in Loch Lein simply provided us with a warm feeling, knowing that we will be well taken care of, especially also with the sumptuous and tasty breakfast, which Paul, Annette and team personally looked into. Having stayed in quite a few hotels during our 14 day trip to Ireland, this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. We highly recommend Loch Lein Country House if you are looking for a cosy and warm place overseeing the scenic Lough Leane in Killarney, with top notch personal service.

Can we give it 10 Stars?? What a lovely B&B!! Annette and Paul are so caring and helpful to their guests. The entire home is lovely, clean and comfortable. The property is spectacular and beautiful. Our room was huge and overlooked the lake. The view of the lake was so nice to come back to after a day of touring. The lounge area is comfortable to meet other guests. Breakfast - wow... another highlight. There are so many delicious options to choose from. No issue parking either. Highly recommend! 10 Stars!

During the whole stay we felt very much cared for by Annette and her husband. Already at arrival we we're very warmly welcomed. The husband came out with two open umbrellas to keep us dry and help with the luggage. We sleept like babies in the lovely and spacious room. The view of the lake is breathtaking. The guesthouse is close tot a busstop and they Killarney National Park. Dinner is tasty and most certainly tot be recommended. Breakfast contains hot and cold drinks, a buffet of cereals, bread and viennoiseries, fresh fruitsalade and yoghurts and a cooked breakfast meal of choice. The lounge with nice and easy chairs invites tot sit back with a drink and read or reload your batteries while overviewing te lake and glenns. There is no doubt this guesthouse is an excellent choice for your stay.

An absolutely beautiful place with amazing owners. We spent 3 nights here and wished we had more. The house and the grounds were picture perfect, along with the view. Close to several things to do such as Killarney National Park, Muckross Farms and Abby, Torc Waterfall, Gap of Dunloe, Ring of Kerry and an amazing rock beach we came across. Great location to go explore and then come back for some R&R, or you may decide just to relax and enjoy being at the B&B, either way staying at Loch Lein Country House is a must do!!

A warm welcome preceded a most wonderful stay with Annette and Paul. Super service, fantastic food and an ideal location from which to explore Killarney. The garden with its view of the lock is perfect for a pre dinner drink!

I stayed at this hotel with a friend for one night, during our road trip around the Ring of Kerry. It was easy to find and the owners were very welcoming and friendly. Checkin was fast and we were shown to our room. ROOM - our room was huge! Two king size beds, comfy armchairs, tv & bottles of water. The view out of the window was absolutely stunning, right across the garden, fields, lake and mountains. The room had blackout curtains & the bed was one the most comfortable I’ve slept in. The room and bed was so quiet and comfy, we both overslept and missed breakfast! The owner was very kind and gave us a takeaway breakfast of pastries and a hot drink. We weee very grateful of that to take on our journey. BATHROOM- the bathroom was also very spacious, with a bath and separate shower. Some small toiletries were provided and the towels were very good quality. Robes were also provided, which was lovely. LOCATION- this place is just outside Killarney, in a very quiet location. It is just down a small lane from the main road, but seems so peaceful. There was plenty of parking and lovely gardens with seating areas. The views are amazing, overlooking the lake. Killarney had plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs. OVERALL- we absolutely loved this place. It was absolutely immaculate & had good quality furniture and decor. It was very country house style and seemed homely. The restaurant overlooked the views, but unfortunately we didn’t get chance to use it. The owners were so lovely, very informative and helpful, but not too overpowering. There were a range of people staying there, old, young and different nationalities. We would definitely stay here again, just for longer next time. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

We absolutely loved everything about Lach Lein House. Paul and Annette were wonderfully caring hosts. The building is exceptionally neat and well-appointed. Our room was very large and attractive, with a beautiful view. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. And the price for all of this was extremely reasonable. But what most stood out was the the couple who own and run everything. They couldn't have been more caring or considerate, and we couldn't recommend an inn more enthusiastically
