I was there at the end of October, I created the Birthday Present for my boyfriend.
So, at first I would appreciate and thank the reception and waitresses, that were very pleasant and helped me to arrange that experience emotional trip. The rooms rather calm, quet, with pleasant Bay view.
I recommend to spent a couple of hours in Spa, tasting masks and massages with white or dark chocolate, sea salt or cream. There ia also a gorgeous pool, which goes outside and contains warm temperature water, even in winter months.
I didn’t notice any particular disadvantages.
Nice outdoor pool. It was nice to swim in warm water and admire the snow))
Dining room: prices are reasonable, food is delicious.
Room: small, cozy. Single room, but the bed is wide and can accommodate two people (with extra charge).
Next time I come with a child, the children's playroom is simply “cool”.
Unfortunately, I didn’t visit the spa or bar.
The area is large and well-groomed, there is a place to walk and take a break from the city.
much the service level, attendants speak English and it was easy to
communicate. Staying in Raivola Hotel was short but enjoyable. Thanks!
Sitting by the fountain (centre of all houses) - I look, kind of smoke from barbecues - all fog, white. Thought it was smoke, but after five minutes I realized it wasn't smoke, it was construction dust from the construction site. That is, it is not only the noise of sawing all day from morning to evening, but also harmful building dust. I'm not exaggerating, just a white mist. It's not about recreation, getting some fresh pine air, it's about health.
2. Well, we stopped by for three days, it was day one. I think I'll go to the front desk, see what's going on, ask for help, see what kind of construction is going on, move it out or something. But what did the administrators say to me? The complaint book is there, write it down. No excuse, no explanation. I'm saying - I don't want to write anything now, I want to talk to the manager, I was deliberately misled, not warned about the problems. The employee reluctantly calls someone on the phone and tells them in front of me with a grin: “Name, you have come to quarrel.” Gentlemen, are you serious??? The manager didn't come to me. They asked me to leave a complaint in writing, said the manager would come and call me soon, I left a complaint and my phone. No answer, never saw the manager.
3) Upon arrival you were asked to pay either by transfer or cash.
They said that, like, they had problems with the terminal and it "might hang".
4) The room smelled like urine.
5) The children's pool was closed at 5 pm because the inspection came, the water samples were done and the water in the pool was not in compliance with the norms!!!
Closed for at least two days, those who came for this pool - offered no options. Just buy entrance to the second adult pool. It's 170 depth, a lot of people.
6) The closed pool was the last straw - I decided to return the money and not stay there overnight. Give back the money you paid by transfer. The administrators talk nonsense: “you paid by transfer, we will only refund the money within 5-7 days.” Only when I said that I really wanted to send their whole story about cash and transfers to the prosecutor's office - after a couple of calls(!) in the back room the money was returned to me in cash.
7) Inflatable trampolines. It's a total mess. I was told by a staff member that they had children flying over the edge and falling to the ground, that they had been called an ambulance several times. It's objectively possible if a kid jumps a lot there having a height of about 120. But where are the visiting bans? Why do trampolines still work after children have been injured? Where is the protection around the trampoline???
8) Showers in front of the pool are required to visit barefoot! It's really messy! You can't even wear pool slippers. There's hair on the floor, dirt, judging by the smell - kids peeing there. Barefoot walking is a trash.
9) Huge area covered by fence
Highly discouraged. Administrators are terrible. Unbelievable dust and noise from the construction (judging by the view will last another year for sure). Dirty pools that close when checked, dirty rooms. And the price tag is above average. For 2 nights for 1 adult and 2 children ~16,000 the cheapest room, no meals or other benefits.
Otherwise I agree with the negative reviews. That's exactly how it is.
There's rubbish around the pool.
The pool is deep, the stairs are uncomfortable, the children can't come down, let alone the disabled.
Tiles are slippery everywhere.
In showers, the water is cold or hot, and unregulated.
Locker rooms are full of flies.
The staff is brazen and brazen.
Unless, of course, you want hemorrhoids. If you are a masochist, then this place is perfect for you.
And now for the facts:
We chose a place to relax with friends, a childhood dream - the country hotel Raivola. Dreams remained in childhood, in adulthood - deception, fraud and unpleasant experiences.
1. Strange payment frauds. Payment is only in cash, the rest is by transfer. To the question "why?" They answer: “Well, something’s broken with us, money is debited from you, but it doesn’t reach us, so it’s better by transfer.” I wonder what the Federal Tax Service will say about this?
2. Upon arrival, we were deceived for 3 thousand. Is this related to point 1 - think for yourself). The administrator returned the money with the words: “well, I was set up..” Who? Calculator? We also didn't hear any apologies.
3. We were not warned about the building under construction right in front of the room
4. The room does not match the photos when booking. The bathtub is not white, but yellow. And in fact, the room should not have a bathtub, but a jacuzzi. To the question “where is the jacuzzi?”, the administrator replied “well, a jacuzzi is essentially a bath...”! Really!
5. The service leaves much to be desired. The receptionist brought us a bottle of champagne with the words: “Well, I don’t know to whom, but Happy Birthday” - and with that we were grateful that they didn’t take money for the bottle.
6. Upon arrival, we paid extra for the number of guests in the room. Typically, payment is for expenses that the hotel incurs, in the form of bed linen, slippers, bathrobes, glasses, soap and other things. As you understand, none of this happened. More precisely, there were 3 sets of 6. Interesting. What did we pay extra for?
If this is the attitude towards clients who book the most expensive hotel room, then what attitude towards ordinary ones..) Think for yourself.
