I understand there's been a recent change in ownership here and, apparently, there are refurbishments coming. That'll be a good thing because the property is a bit tired - to say the least. My big problem was with cleanliness. You can live with tired, even maybe with the stained carpets. It was the lack of attention to housekeeping detail that...

It looks a lot nicer in the photos but this is quite an ordinary motel that could have capitalised on its surroundings and gardens but didn't. Very dated, old. Cracked tiles and a cobweb in the bathroom. Was quite dark. I wouldn't eat meals here, much better options (and ambiance) in town. We checked out the breakfast ($25 for hot...

Provider is extremely run down and in desperate need of a makeover, might have been nice once but not now. We ate at the restaurant and ordered lamb with roasted tomato, the meat was only identifiable by the description on the menu served with some over cooked baked potato and a quarter of a tomato straight from the fridge ....

It was a nice stay. Peace and calm place. Great service and specious room. Great venue for weddings. Nice heated Pool and you can get bicycles for ride. Very close to nearby wineries which offer fresh produce from garden for lunch. We enjoyed Davis Lows wine and their lunch platter for two.

Arrived at 2pm and given room 214, friendly check in staff. Entered room and found room a bit dark and a bit tired! Had to leave to attend a function and on return had a good nights sleep, comfy bed and pillows. Room is spacious with queen and single bed, bathroom a good size, Bar and restaurant good however one...

I stayed here with a group of girlfriends recently and we booked 3 rooms. They put us all side by side and we were on the ground floor which was nice and easy to all hang out on the nice long veranda. The rooms are nice and big but terrible water pressure in the shower. The first night we thought...

We stayed here for business whilst attending the Mudgee Field Day. The gardens are beautiful and green which makes for a nice spot for a wine in the afternoon. The restaurant is nice. It is a few minutes out of town on the way to the field day site so makes a bit difficult to have dinner in town and...

We had a group booking and the staff all looked after my passengers extremely well. The food was great, Hot Breakfast each morning and Dinner each night. The Bar staff were professional and treated you like a friend, and had a knack of remembering what you drink. Thanks to Joseph and Kristy who looked after us there. One problem was...

We were disappointed to be woken by nearby party people. This is hard when it continues until 4.00 am The same disturbance happened further down in the resort the following night. A great pity for the resort. Maybe night security could be improved .

Over the past year we've stayed at least 5 times, each time it gets a little better. No baloney check-in, the reception usually accommodates any reasonable requests like your preferred room if available. The property is being gradually refurbished, new bathrooms furniture etc. I hope management keep the prices reasonable and don't get too greedy like some of the other...
