The hotel is well located on the sea front. Out of season, free on street parking can be found, although maybe not on first try. The front desk service is helpful and friendly, particularly Eduardo. Our room was more of a small apartment with a lounge and dining area. Enough room to eat a brought in snack. I don't know if other rooms have a kitchenette, ours didn't, but there was a small refrigerator. The room was very clean and the bed, a little firm, wide and comfortable. Included in the price we paid, was a buffet breakfast. The breakfast was of moderate quality, not horrible, but not great either, although there is a wide choice. There is even Cava for those who wish to start the day with bubbles! Overall 4 points, 3 would be stingy and unfair, but the hotel could use a little refreshment. It is showing some wear and tear, but a long way from shabby.

This hotel is really more of a B&B as it recently closed down its restaurant and only serves breakfast. There is a good selection of bread, cold meat, cheese and fresh fruit along with bacon and a choice of eggs. One small complaint is that the fruit juice on offer is the poor quality supermarket variety. It has no bar but there is a small fridge in your room and you can bring in drinks from the nearby supermarket. However it offers great value and service. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the reception staff are friendly and helpful. Beds are very comfortable and changed regularly. Large fluffy white bath sheets and hand towels are changed daily. It is right in the centre of Roses and you can walk to a wide range of restaurants, shops etc. The pier where the boat trips leave from is a 5 minute walk away. The beach- miles of it - is just across the road . If you hire a car parking can be a problem but there are large free car parks around the Citadel which is a short walk away. Most rooms don’t have balconies but the rooms on the 5th floor have large roof terraces with their own sun beds.We used the hotel as a base to tour the area and were very happy with it.

We stayed here twice in one trip S other hotels were a disappointment after a few days here. We were on 5th floor with an amazing terrace overlooking the sea and promenade which was amazing. The hotel staff were lovely and the rooms are adequate in decor but clean and comfortable. The location is perfect across the road from a beautiful beach and near to loads of superb restaurants nearby. There is no parking but loads free a short walk away. We will go back for sure.

The rooms are nice but the staff is not friendly or helpful. The cleaning staff bang around in the hall and talk and yell to each other so don’t expect peace and quiet. I was also not notified that renovations were going on prior to arriving and I had a room with a terrible view of the alley behind the hotel even though I booked at least 3 months in advance. The front desk staff were typical rude and unhelpful to me. The wifi is very slow. Go somewhere else where they might appreciate their customers.
