We stayed just one night here. The room was a good size, clean and had a long balcony. We didn’t try the breakfast although it did look nice. The only negative was that there was no hand soap in our bathroom. We asked the receptionist for some but found her comment very strange. She said that due to the Covid situation they had removed all amenities from the rooms. We found this bizarre as surely during this time more than ever it is essential to provide hand soap? Nevertheless, she was happy to provide us with some and also gave us some good recommendations on where to eat and where to go nearby.

Modern Hotel with quirky bathroom setup, Very clean and comfortable with small Juliette balcony. The hotel has just recently undergone renovation and has an open feel cafe style dining room. The guy on reception was excellent and obliging with good English, good sense of humour and informative. The breakfast buffet was impressive, well presented and and wide range of selections. The girl serving and looking after the coffee/tea was very helpful.

This is by far the worst hotel room I’ve stayed in. My room is the only one on the floor with a window to, well, I’m not sure actually. Possibly a tunnel to somewhere. There are three things I know for certain... 1. No air, 100% relying on a/c which doesn’t do anything to improve the nasty smell. 2. No natural light 3. For the same price I’m paying for this, other rooms have sunshine and huge windows which open for air I’m beyond pissed off! If you want to stay here I suggest you check in advance if you’re being put in the “special” room or not. At least give yourself the option to go somewhere else. I wish I could.

Our expectations were not met on this hotel. Hotel was clean but the view from the room was terrible. We could see another room and a big pipe. Same as no window at all. There was no sunlight coming to the room. We did not want to spend any extra time at the room because it was not cosy and felt more like a bunker. The hotel staff seems nice, but maybe it’s because they don’t speak English that well that we got a weird response every time we had a question. It felt like they did not care at all about our worries. Someone had been at our room before the cleaning lady - the tv was on, cupboards wide open, safety box open, extra key card left in the room. Nothing had been stolen but it seemed weird and when we went to the reception about this the staff did not seem to care at all and said that it must have been the cleaner cleaning. Maybe rooms with a balcony are nice ones in this hotel but we did not appreciate our stay in this hotel.

Arrived at the hotel after a tiring day and received a warm greeting and taken to our room. The room was of a good size, very clean and overlooked the shops with views of the mountains in the distance. During our stay we encountered a very fierce wind and the balcony door would not remain closed. Immediately we mentioned this to the staff we were offered a change of room. Had no complaints at all. The hotel is a short walk to the seafront and there are many restaurants available with a wide choice of menus and prices. Breakfast in the hotel offered ample variety and the staff were constantly refreshing the breads and cheeses to keep a fresh supply for the diners. Ideally located for driving to surrounding towns such as Cadaques, Begur and Port De La Selva.
