Great find. The campsite itself is tight and in a 7m campervan I had to take it slowly to my pitch. Great facilaties, friendly staff. Bar and restaurant area great and the kids loved the pool. Having been in France for two weeks and stopping here we noticed how much cheaper the food and drink was. We only stayed one night but would recommend.
This was an ecellent site, where I would very much have liked to stay for linger, but sadly K had onwards plans. Pitches were separated by hedges and shady The sanitation facilities were VERY clean & luxurious. Great pool area and snack bar. Loads of sunbeds etc. 5 mins walk to the seafront with many bars/restaurants. Town centre 20 mins approx walk. Taps on all pitches. Need a 2 pin electric hook up adaptor. Very relaxing site. Site was almost full in October which I suspect is an indication of its popularity. Carrefour/Lidl supermarkets 5 mins walk. If arriving via C-260 do not turn right until AFTER Carrefour store. Sat-Nav tried to send me via dirt track!
We arrived without booking on a Saturday, and were unable to get a pitch we wanted. We were offered a smaller pitch and then to change to one of our choice when more became vacant on the Sunday. The staff were very helpful. The pool and surroundings excellent, and the toilet and shower block on par with 4 * hotels, and regularly cleaned throughout the stay. 2 supermarkets within walking distance, and a 10 minute walk to Roses promenade, although I would recommend bikes to get around Roses.
We Stayed here for 9 nights as a family of 2 adults and a child aged 9. After staying on a larger, more commercial site last year we wanted a smaller site closer to the centre of Roses and Camping Rodas ticked all our boxes. The campsite was occupied mainly with French and Spanish guests. The pitches appeared to vary in size across the campsite, ours was spacious but very dusty, we were grateful of our large ground sheet. The pool area was lovely with plenty of sun beds no need to rush up in the morning if anything the poolside became busier in the afternoon. Toilets and showers were spotless, laundry facilities easy to use with pre-filled detergent and softener. Food at the poolside bar was very nice and also reasonably priced. The beach is a pleasant 10 minute stroll away. There are a number of supermarkets a short drive away. My only criticism was the amount of Motorhomes parked up outside the campsite, not a very welcoming site and I’m pretty sure the occupants were using the pool and toilet/shower facilities, no security on the gate during the day so it’s made rather easy for them - wristbands are issued to paying guests but these are not checked. Highly recommend the Roses express train that takes you up into the mountains, the views are stunning! …
