Ideally situated between ocean, lake and golf courses, the apartments and villas are in the Quinta do Lago Estate, a nature park of 200 acres (645 hectares) of pine forests, lush green fairways, lagoons and lakes, bordering the Atlantic Ocean and 3.5 km of golden beaches. It is situated alongside São Lourenço Golf Course, in the top 10 courses in Europe. Miles of unspoilt sandy beaches can be reached by a wooden footbridge across the magnificent Ria Formosa natural reserve. Set in superb landscaped gardens with a profusion of sub tropical plants, it offers all the ingredients for a perfect relaxing or active holiday. In the club, there are two tennis courts and a large pool, incorporating a separate children's pool with a fountain. A pleasant walk accross the bridge to the beach and a few minutes walk to the Quinta Lake, where one has the sports activities. Most of the villas and apartments have been renovated and have been very tastefully furnished. All bedrooms have en suítes.

Apartment was a bit dated and needed a bit of love (new kitchen and a/c units) but the pool was great and the food at the bar, better than at the beach, and excellent value. We Great location within walking distance from beach. We enjoyed our time again in one of our favourite holiday destinations.

Excelent location in the best area of Quinta do Lago, this is the only resort you can walk to the beach. Big Pool is perfect for children, and bar restaurant has good food with good prices. Apartment was spacious, well kept and clean with nice simple decor. Ideal also for golfers this "in" the green of Sao Lourenco. Teens,

Also perfect for night life goers of all ages with the discos and bars of Quinta do lago and Vale de Lobo so close.

On the downside only the tennis courts wich were badlly kept.

This is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday in the sun - there is something for everyone. The lifeguarded pool is big enough for a descent swim and with a children's pool and plenty of sun beds. The apartment we stayed in was 5 minutes walk from the lake with its watersports, and 15 minutes walk to the sea (5minutes of which is across the wooden bridge over the Ria Formosa Estuary). There is a concession area on the beach which is quiet - on windy days it can be a bit cool but the sea is great for waves when it is windy.
We had easy access to the driving range and golf courses and hired bikes through the reception to look a bit further afied along the nature reserve.
V.V. has its own tennis courts (play before it gets too hot though!) but if you want a sociable game you can go up to the tennis centre at roundabout 4
I would not hesitate recommending Victory Village to anyone wanting a peaceful family holiday - we go every year!
(It isnt really a hotel - more serviced self catering apartments)

This apartment was a great find. Ideal for two people, it was spacious light and very comfortable. The attention to colour, pattern and texture of the interior decoration gives it a contemporary, comfortable feel. The small kitchen was perfect for a short stay and had all the amenities you would need, including a good coffee machine. The wifi was good, UK TV channels very welcome and air conditioning a lifesaver. The beautifully manicured grounds are a pleasure to walk around, and the whole resort was serenely quiet. There are loads of good restaurants nearby. Gigi's on the beach was our favourite. The beach is easy to reach over the lovely lagoon area. It's a perfect spot to watch the sun go down and has a beach bar, umbrellas and a lifeguard. The resort pool is a great place to top up the tan, hang out, grab a reasonably priced bite and drink. Thoroughly loved our stay and would love to come back one day!

My wife and I rented an apartment in Victory Village in early July this year. We regularly visit the algarve at least 3-4 times per year but stay at our normal time share apartment in Villar Do Golf but due to short notice we could not stay there so rented an apartment in Victory Village.

We booked to stay 5 nights, everything seemed fine but on the last night of our stay a robbery took place and over £15k worth of goods (mainly Jewelery and designer clothing and shoes were taken.

There was no forced entry as a key had been used to enter the apartment. We had our two set of keys so it seems that it could only had been an employee / key holder carried out the crime.

The police were called and came promptly but the management company on site took no responsibility and stated that they only book people in and out? It was clearly an inside job. We had not seen any security on site but you needed an electronic tab to get through the gate so yet again an employee is the obvious thief. The owner of the property has not ever bothered to call me back and took no responsibility and neither the management company. We are fighting to get our insurance to cover our loses.

Please avoid this place at all cost as you could be next?

I do not know who you booked your apartment with, but this is very strange as there is security during the night and the staff in no way would do a robbery. This complex is one of the quietest around and I repeat no way would cleaning staff do that alone have time to! Who are on earth would take 15K of personal effects on holiday with them!

We recently rented the above apartment via booking.com but on arrival could not stay as it was dirty/poor quality the pictures we looked at on the site were very mis-leading and feel we were mis-sold this property. A damaged weathered garden table as a dining table, wooden garden loungers as lounge furniture, dirty, marked cushions and soft coverings also covered in dog/cat hair, big boiler in the bathroom with a trailing plug and a pipe leading into a hole in the ground, mould in the shower, dirty, mouldy shower mats, dirty cooker, dirty terrace, table for terrace collapsed, lock fell out of door from bedroom to a small dirty terrace. There was also an interconnecting door between our apartment and the one next door, this meant that everything you said could be heard by the people next door and vice versa. We have pictures to support all this. We called BmyGuest straightaway but no one got back to us, we called booking.com, we had to pay again for somewhere clean to stay. As yet we have not had a resolve to our complaint as this apartment was not cheap. We have would not recommend this apartment.

Lovely resort with the advantage that you can walk to the beach. The appartments where we stayed (1 studio and 1 one room appartment) were ok, but needed some upgrading. However, the price compensates for the small difference in other resorts in the area. The pool is very big, the resort is well frequented and the gardens are very well kept. We have stayed here several times in previous mini-holidays and allways had a great experience. The restaurant by the pool serves light meals for an average price, when compared to other hotels in Quinta do Lago.

We rented this house for 1 week in the middle of August 2019.

To start with, our experience with Feels Like Home, which was the company that rented the apartment was really bad. They were supposed to deliver the keys of the apartment after 15PM. We arrived at 16PM. The agent wasn’t there. When we called her, she told us she was delivering another apartment in Albufeira (a nearby location) and told us she would arrive in 1 hour. The hour passed and no one arrived. We called her again and she said she would arrive in 45 minutes. That didn’t happen either. She finally arrived at 19:15, so we stayed there, waiting for her more than 3 hours.

We got the apartment 18-A of Victory Village Club. When we entered into the apartment, we found a horrendous situation. It didn’t look at all like the pictures that we had seen in booking. Lots of issues, dirt everywhere, water pouring out of the shower, shower hose in bad condition, old fridge, stains of moisture on the walls, main door squeaking, rust everywhere in the kitchen, and an old couch in a poor condition. I’ve taken and uploaded some photos where you can see with your own eyes all this mess:

We escalated this situation to Feels like Home customer care department but they didn’t do much. They just offered us to solve the shower problem. About the rest of the issues, they said they were the normal wear and tear of a local apartment. They also said they were not harmful to health :((

Even though we were in a peaceful and wonderful location, that apartment spoiled what could have been a great holidays.

So, the only thing I could say is avoid renting through "Feels like Home" and in particular avoid renting this property. I just hope you don't make the same mistake.

We spent a week in Villa 62. Three bedrooms 4 bathrooms, huge windows, great light, wonderfull and relaxed decoration, a small swimming pool, a small garden and a patio. We had our meals near the swimming pool in a well prepared barbecue area.
Walking to the beach takes 15 minutes of a really nice walk through ria formosa, on a wooden bridge - sunsets from here are wonderfull !
Service and cleaness were great, we were very well received !

Victory Village Club's Pool Bar is well worth a visit - great fresh fish, the best oysters and fresh clams. Delicious sandwiches, freshly made salads and various cocktails. Definitely a surprise that has improved the quality of our holidays. I highly recommend it!
