Good and cozy hotel in Honningsvag. The rooms have a good size with a comfortable bed. 24 hour reception is helpful (especially if weather conditions are rough, streets are closed and check in is late in the evening), and the small shop has everything that one needs. There is no dinner possibility in the hotel (except for groups), but breakfast is great. One thing that we were a bit disappointed about: if you book a superior double room, it says that you MAYBE have a private sauna in the room. We would have really liked that, and as we were staying 4 nights and the vast majority of other guests left after one or two nights, we would have loved to have this extra advantage. I guess we would have even payed more for it, but there was no possibility to choose it when booking. However, we still really enjoyed our stay and would definitley recommend the hotel!

Had a wonderful stay at the Scandic Bryggen. Room 301 offered a great view and private dry sauna. Great location close to North Cape and Gjesvaer. Only criticism was difficulty sleeping with midnight sun only partially blocked with existing window curtains.

We had a night of stopover in Honningsåg for our last minute planned visit to North Cape so the stay was kind of pricey.
Very comfortable stay, spacious room & we could have restful good sleep from our exhausting drive from Finland. Regarding the car parking situation we can only say that we had some luck on arrival & could park directly in front of hotel so can’t really say much about how it would have been like otherwise. Hotel team is helpful in this regard so shouldn’t be much of a worry.
Breakfast next morning is superb, hotel guests are simply spoiled w/ choices from the amazing buffet spread!
Didn’t have the chance to explore around town/visit the North Cape Museum which is supposedly nearby the hotel as the museum has a relative short seasonal opening hours during our brief visit so may consider staying here again (& probably longer) when we return next time (if the price is within appropriate/acceptable range).

The Scandic Bryggen is located on the old "pier" in Honningsvåg, right by the harbor. We had a room on the second floor with a view of the harbor and the mountains. The guys and girls at the reception are extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. There is a kind of lounge area where you can get coffee, tea and hot chocolate 24/7. The restaurant here has also closed, which is a shame, but there are a few alternatives in town. The breakfast was Scandic-like - a bit of everything and some regional specialties. We slept very well and our room and bathroom were recently renovated, very modern and clean. If there is a Scandic in Honningsvåg, then it is the Bryggen.

The location was perfect, the view was good even the weather was ok. Unfortunately the experience was not what we expected. We got our room two hours late, the staff was not at all appologetical, the room was tiny, the toilet bowl was childrens size, the restaurant was closed. Luckily the shower was good.

Our location makes it ideal to explore the town of Honningsvåg easily as everything is within walking distance from us. I'm really sorry that the check in took longer - usually all the rooms are available at 15:00, so I wonder if it happened to be one of the few extremely busy days we have had. The hotel is very well located, right by the water, and only a few minutes' walk from the centre of Honningsvag. The parking at the house is free of charge. Check-in was very friendly and effective. Our room was simply but tastefully decorated. The bathroom was a bit too small for us. The breakfast offer was good, the atmosphere in the breakfast area as well as in the whole hotel was very pleasant.

The hotel was nice, great location and clean and big rooms.
It was near everything...5min walk to a restaurant and shops.
The breakfast was also good. There was one person serving (because of corona) potato/sausage/scrambled eggs/mushroom/vegetables. And after this you could take bread that was individually packed in bags. They had everuthing individually packed because of corona: fruit, butter, cheese, youghurt and so on. Great!
Nothing more to say, other than that I would come here again if I visited this place again :)

This hotel is a bit to the south of town, but the surrounding are makes for a perfect backdrop for a lazy afternoon walk, either to the church and the hills (for a hike), or by the harbor. It is quiet, the food was good, and the room, large enough. Nothing to complain about.

Everything was perfect, room with a view of the harbor, very helpful and friendly staff, breakfast had everything your heart could desire. The only criticism of the breakfast was that the hot dishes weren't quite as hot, otherwise it was very good. I can only recommend it.

Excellent location, excellent service, excellent breakfast! And great bed and pillows! At some age one is very picky about beds and pillows. Thank you! Great views from the hotel. Only they do not offer dinner at the hotel, which was a shame, but there are good restaurants in the vicinity.
