This is the epitome of a Tuscan village. The grounds are beautiful. We stayed in casa remo which was a 2 bedroom house. Awesome fireplace. Quaint, charming and peaceful. Excellent staff! Great location.

I have immediately posted your review on our Facebook page! We like the idea of considering our borgo the "epitome of a Tuscan village". It was recently defined "pristine" and we are very proud of our authenticity! I hope you'll keep good memories of your birthday here in Lucignano d'Asso and I look forward to your next visit. Our stay here was not only one of the most memorable and delightful parts of a recent three-week trip to Italy, it was an experience that we will treasure forever. Although we are experienced travelers, and have spent quite a bit of time in Italy, this was the first time we've stayed in a self-catering property. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves....

Thanks so much for your very kind words. I'm glad to know that you enjoyed your first experience at a self-catering venue. Having worked for a long time for luxury hotels, I've tried to give the borgo a similar professional support. Guests renting houses tend to be very independent, but I believe that receiving advice from a local can help...

An absolutely excellent experience, in a breathtaking location. An opportunity to live in a tiny medieval town surrounded by magnificent hill towns, offering excellent cuisine and outstanding wines. The perfect Tuscany experience made all the better by extremely gracious hosts.

Dear Wil, It was such a pleasure to have you and your wife here at the borgo for a full month! How nice your stories about your previous stays. I do hope you'll organize a family reunion and that we'll see us again in Lucignano d'Asso very soon. Arrivederci!! Doriana

We just finished our seventh trip to Lucignanello Bandini and continue to love every minute of staying there. This year we stayed in Casa Maria which is absolutely beautiful. As always the Manager is incredibly helpful with maps, restaurant bookings and local knowledge, the location is stunningly beautiful, the food excellent and of course the wine......

Dear "Wheelsnotfeet", Thanks for your positive review on Tripadvisor. The real pleasure is to have you here at Borgo Lucignanello so often. I still remember your family reunion in 2007 (my first year at the borgo). Your daughter was just a child and now she is a beautiful young woman! Southern Tuscany offers so much, that I'm sure you'll be...

We were back at Lucignanello Bandini after 15 years and I am happy to report that the place continues to be EXCELLENT.The houses are large and exquisitely decorated (as well as fully equipped); they make you feel at home right away. The location is great --10 minutes from Pienza -- and the staff is friendly and professional. There is no...

Dear Saul, It was a pleasure to meet you and your friends here at the borgo last week. I've been working for this property for 7 years now and during this long period I met many many guests that were here in the past, kept a good memory of this unique and secret place and decided to come back. I can not recommend Lucignanello d'Asso highly enough. We have been going there for 3 years and are booked in for fourth. We stay in Casale Sarageto the farm house which is slightly removed from the village. Every year we discover more things to love about it. My only hesitation in writing this review is that we may have trouble...

It's always a pleasure to have your family back each summer. And your return has even a higher value, considering that you come to our tiny, hidden "borgo" from the other side of the world! I'll try to find out more and more hidden places to visit and local restaurants to try, so that you will keep on coming back...

The last week of August proved to be a fantastic time of year for a very quiet and private romantic honeymoon! Dear guests, We are glad that you enjoyed your honeymoon so much! Casa Maria has one of the best views of our hills, but it has also a different story than all the other houses, that's why its furniture and decor are so peculiar. We had already in our plans to change its romantic, but narrow canopy bed. We will...
