We planned our holiday here after a largely good experience with small frustrations two years ago. Paying $800 per night has got us a largish room that overlooks a shopping centre. It is grim and I am so upset at wasting all this money. We would have been better off getting a ‘village view’ room that although smaller would have been about half the price. Usually I would go and talk to the front desk team to discuss my frustrations but the lady who ‘looked after’ our family at check in was cross and frankly scary to deal with. The concierge team were most lovely and welcoming to the hotel and we appreciated their kindness.…
Emma Bridget Tomlinson is an amazing artist. Beautiful entertainment on the doorstep of Noosa river. Emma’s voice is spectacular. Great wine, great food but the music was the best! An experience for the ages.
The Sofitel is family friendly and the staff were efficient. We checked into our room and decided it wasn’t safe for our son being able to access the pool gate from our balcony, so they moved us asap. They even let us view the potential rooms before selecting one. We had a great holiday here.…

We asked for the Executive suite and at first I was disappointed that we didn't have a higher/better view. However, the room was absolutely MASSIVE and the balcony seemed even bigger. It was very private and perfect bridal suite. The staff were phenomenal!!! Isaac, Cori and the young blond gentleman on concierge were absolutely incredible. They remembered my name, car and room number after the first visit and continually greeted me by name throughout my stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Jodi on reception greeted me initially when I checked in and she was so friendly and again went out of her way to ensure I had everything I need and continued to greet me and my husband by name each time we saw her at the reception. Every staff we passed, whether it was in the hallway, pool etc. acknowledged us. The rooms were impeccably cleaned and restocked everyday. We even got extra coffee pods when we asked for them. The night of the wedding, we came back to our room (which was where the girls got ready that morning) and the room was spotless, with complimentary champagne, chocolates, treats and a personalised messaged congratulating us. It was these added touches that has secured our returning business. It was the best 6 days staying in a hotel I have ever had!!!…
