I am in my 50's and had never stayed at a hostel until this one. My experience was top notch. The warm welcome when my group arrived, the common areas, the bathroom, the room I slept in, the bed, the people, everything was wonderful. I was a little worried about staying in a hostel. Bells Beach Backpackers showed me that...

Very clean and tidy, well run and friendly atmosphere. No problem with noise, quite at night. Parking available. Good kitchen and everything you may need available. Clean comfy beds. I spent most of my time at the beach👍👌🏼😀

They have a good board storage and a small parking. If there is no spot in their parking, it is easy to park on the street. Restrooms were clean. Bed was a little too soft for me. As Torquay is very small, it is easy to walk anywhere from there (it is not ion the center though).

had an awesome time at bells beach backpackers. the common area was fantastic and had a great vibe, the kitchen was well stocked and had space for everyone and the outside area was fantastic just for hanging out and if you wanted to chill. there was also a large shopping mall/coles nearby which was great as we cooked when there....

Great hostel walking distance to shops, beach, etc. with a nice shared kitchen, clean bathrooms, hot showers and helpful info from the owner! It's at the start of the Great Ocean Road close to a surfing beach and popular surf shops as well.

A well organised and very comfortable hostel for anyone who is in Torquay to enjoy the ocean and come back in a clean and cosy hostel. They've got a well equipped kitchen and a nice outdoor bbq area with campervan spots next to it.

I stayed with my friends at Bells Beach Backpackers for one night in February. The hostel is nice and tidy, specially the kitchen facilities were positive surprise. Our room was quiet and the beds were comfortable. Sadly i cant say much good about the service; we (4 finnish students) were served by another finnish girl, who instead of letting us...
