Excellent accommodation. Room very clean and spacious. Breakfast was first class. Cereal/juice etc followed by freshly cooked omelette, bacon etc. Owner very attentive and professional. Nice location beside the River Moyne. Only booked in for 2 nights but could have stayed more.

Arrived at Oscars Hotel mid afternoon and was greeted by very friendly staff member. We were given a short tour of the hotel and then taken to our room. The view from our room was really nice, looking over the river. The only downside was the size of the bathroom, very small with not much shelf rom for our toiletries....

This looks like an old house impeccably restored, but I have been told that it is quite new. Well done as the whole feeling is very classic and cosy at the same time. The beds are comfortable, the mosquito nets allow sleeping with open windows and the bathrooms are modern. The "lack" of furniture in the minimalist room is compensated...

When we arrived we were greeted by Richard, who assisted us with taking our luggage up a very steep staircase. We were shown to our room which had a lovely view of the river, the jetty and the boats. The room itself was clean but very sparse and without much in the way of "boutique hotel" niceties. It was stark...

We stayed just the one night in the suite at the rear of the property, apart from feeling that this was living in a goldfish bowl, the suite was well equipped and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit under-whelming and there was a lack of lights and mirrors. The breakfast was very good, ample amounts of food even though it...

After a long drive to Port Fairy, I was ready for a rest. From the moment you walk in to this hotel, you feel special. The public rooms are elegant and comfortable as are the well- equipped bedrooms. Walk through onto the waterfront terrace and relax with a glass of wine and you could find a better spot. The welcome...

Arrived late and received a warm welcome from our host Richard. A dinner reservation had been thoughtfully arranged at an old Inn down the road, in walking distance, given all other kitchens were closing at that late hour. Oscars attention to detail is outstanding. Our room was decorated with a comfortable, stylish and practical sense. We had a view over...

We stayed in the larger of the two river view rooms and it was lovely! Looking out onto the sailboats moored at the dock was a beautiful way to have happy hour! Hotel is beautifully maintained and the service helpful & attentive but not overbearing. Breakfast was very high quality with large portions. I was thrilled to get a "proper...

Beautiful setting, charming staff, quirky traditions, lovely stay. Recommended for as a calm and cool classic hotel. Lovely verandah, beautiful and comfortable lounge complete with reference books to find names of the local birds and wildlife. We stayed one night and wished it had been longer. Easy walking to the centre.

We arrived late afternoon after our trip from Apollo Bay via 12 Apostles and Warrnambool. We were greeted by a very friendly Mrs Sally Douglas who ushered through the door to book us in. There was the smell of freshly baked bread permeating the hallway. We were shown to our room at the top of a flight of stairs to...
