Good hotel, nice views from balcony etc
A short enough walk into the middle of Lorne and most of it can be done on the coastal path and / or beach. A little bit dark walking back on an evening
Wifi was good
We'd endured a bitterly cold and windy day along the GOR, so getting to the Grand after dark was a relief.
Friendly, efficient staff (Lydia from Montreal and Stefan from Frankfurt) were marvellous.

In general I would say no. However, in the rooms I saw on the 2nd floor you could have put a crib in the bathroom. It was bigger than the bedroom. That was a bit of facetiousness. There maybe a family room in the hotel... More
