We booked a double room, arrived to be given wrong directions to the "lodge". Finally found lodge, who knew nothing of booking. Reception called Backpackers at number 47, and told them off . Sent back to 47, who showed us to "cottage" down the road , basically, a rundown old bungalow that needed a lot of attention (dodgy door locks,...

The place is well located with nice view in front of the bay. Homely atmosphere and spacious commom areas. Still...it lacks some details like hangers in the showers, matching new sheets & linen... the recepcion is a mess of a tiny rooms with plenty of useless stuff.

This is the sort of hostel that you will either love or hate, depending on what kind of a holiday you are after and what you look for in your accommodation. For me, I found it fantastic and exactly what I was after - a laid-back, easy-going, quiet and relaxing place to rest and recuperate at in between some awesome...

It is basic, but has everything you need. A shower, a kitchen and dormrooms. Our opinion was that it looks like a messy student room. One night was enough. Though, we could imagine that hardcore backpackers could love this place

Awesome hostel! It´s more like visiting a mate´s house, quite small and cozy! The staff is super friendly and helpful and always around for a chat. Or a movie. Or just hanging out and having a good time :) There´s a lot of free food, hot and cold drinks, spices etc. in the kitchen to use, which makes it even...

Loved this hostel! We turned up here with no reservation for one night but they had space. Phil was very friendly and welcoming. The whole layout of the house is very cosy, I felt like I was visiting a friends house, it was great! Comfy bed, great showers, free WiFi, free breakfast, nice communal area. Lovely atmosphere I really enjoyed...

We stayed here for one night mid feb and it was the worst hostel I have ever stayed at. We turned up to the backpackers to check in where there was not really a reception area and told to drive down the street a few houses. We pulled up outside a derelict house with a for sale sign outside and...

Where to begin? Rude staff? Dirty? Rooms not what's advertised? Abandoned rusted cars and cats everywhere? We were "greeted" on arrival, more like she didn't even care we were there. When we walked down the street to the trashy house, we had to walk through then outside to our small, and bad room. Offered another room, with no flywire or...

The "receptionist" took no interest in our arrival, we did not feel welcome. She was unenthusiastic, struggled with english, and rude. She gave us a hand drawn map and told us to walk down the street to our room which was tidy although the lamps on either side of the bed didnt work. The other visitors were friendly. Our bed...
