Excellent location. We stayed in the Tom Thumb room. Had everything we could possibly need for our overnight stay. Would also be fantastic as a base to visit wineries, etc. We were greeted on arrival by Raj who made sure we had everything we needed and showed us where everything was and how to operate tv, spa, etc. Room was...

Thank you Dianna for your lovely review. We totally agree and believe that our accommodation makes an excellent base for winery tours, trips around the Tamar, quick joints into Launceston and a great location for relaxing and getting away from it all! Thank you also for your recommendation to friends to visit/stay at The Charles Robbins. We certainly look forward...

Nothing on the outside prepares you for the opulence for the room. Fully appointed with every conceivable luxury and the bonus of friendly owners, this boutique hotel is a fine place to stay to explore this delightful area of Tasmania.

We stayed two nights and were amazed at all the attention to detail of our apartment. The owners were wonderful and could not be more accommodating. You'll feel at ease at this place and it's really well located to local eateries and shops. Our apartment had a full kitchen, fully equipped bathroom, super comfy bed, and all the essentials you...

We enjoyed staying at The Charles Robbins so much that we returned for a longer stay this April. A new conservatory area has been added to the Tom Thumb suite and was the ideal area to eat meals in a relaxed atmosphere outside. Luxury comes as standard here. There is now an under cover car port for 4 cars within...

We arrived about 9:30am (reception opens at 7am) to be treated by a very polite gentleman in silk pjs and robe. He was kind enough to check us in while telling us a story of a previous guest who was high on ice and caused damage. He then proceeded to show us our room, which was delightful with the tour...

It was unfortunate you had not read your reservation details Michelle. Check-in is from 2.00pm till 8.00pm. Reception opens early as we frequently have business guests who like to leave early and there were no such guests leaving that morning. Certainly George Town is no mainland metropolis - which is exactly why most visitors come - to research Tasmania's history,...

Without doubt the best appointed apartment that we've ever stayed at at a price that was only slightly more than a cabin at the local caravan park or a room at the local pub. We enjoyed a fantastic weekend here in an immaculately presented, scrupulously clean 1 bedroom spa apartment (the Cumberland room). The room is equipped with a full...
