We just returned from a three night stay at the wonderful "Windows on Bicheno". From the moment of our welcoming arrival to our leaving we could not fault the accomodation or the wonderful hosting from Doria. The accommodation is first class. It's luxury at its finest with very little expense spared both in the thought that's gone into the furnishings...

We loved this fantastic little B&B just off the main street of Bicheno. The room had a balcony which looked out over the bay. The view was so good that we left the blinds (plantation style and pretty cool) open to wake up to the view. It was worth it! In the morning, breakfast is served in common area between...

My husband and another couple of our friends stayed here last week end. We were very impressed with the design and layout of the B & B, with each of the two suites being linked by a central living and dining area. Doria is a talented and generous chef and her eye for detail makes this place very special. Lovely...

Having stayed for 3 nights in Launceston and then 4 nights in Hobart we quickly realised that this final stay on our short visit to Tassie was the best location of all. Our host, Doria, has built herself a wonderful B&B accommodation offering 100m out of the Bicheno township where we were spoilt by 270 degrees views of the coastline...

If Tasmania is all the rave for visitors, then you'll have to stay at Windows on Bicheno to ensure a perfect East Coast weekend away! It's located very near the seaside, in a two storey building that backs onto the local national park. So what if Doria (very hospitable owner) cooks you a scrumptious (nutritious to boot) breakfast that can't...

We traveled as two couples & both agree this was a fantastic Bed & Breakfast experience. The accommodation was first class & Doria has done a great job. Doria uses local produce where possible & the breakfast was restaurant quality, with each day, a new experience. This is our first B&B and cannot see this level being topped. Doria's extensive...

The accommodation is extremely spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean. Luckily we had rented both bedrooms and so had the communal sitting/dining/kitchen area to ourselves. If we had only been renting one room I think that it would have become uncomfortable with somebody else sharing the space. Doria is a very attentive host and certainly enjoys fussing round her guests like...

We stayed three nights here and this was the best B&B in our tour of Tasmania. A different cooked breakfast each day with fresh fruit, home made bread and conserves. Doria has a passion for producing a quality meal that was without doubt the best breakfast on our travels. The suite was excellent, the bed super comfy, very spacious bathroom...

My wife and I stayed at Windows over the Australia Day long weekend. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and Doria made sure we had a weekend to remember. Other reviewers have noted her breakfasts. I'm not sure what to add that hasn't already been mentioned but I will make a special comment about the manner in which the...

Bicheno is a lovely seaside village with a beautiful coastal walk. Doria is the perfect host and her B and B is one of the most luxurious and comfortable you will ever stay in. Amenities at Windows are of a high standard and Doria's breakfasts were delicious. Doria has very helpful local knowledge and advice. Local seafood is caught daily...
