We had a great stay at Bicheno by the Bay. The location was fantastic, close to swim and surf beaches, wildlife, and a short drive to both Freycinet national park and plenty of great wineries. The staff were very helpful and the two bedroom cabin...More
We had a 3-bed bungalow which has 2 single beds and a modern ensuite downstairs as well as a generous entry area good for leaving shoes and gear in. Upstairs has two bedrooms (one queen and the other two singles both with good storage), plus...More
We stayed for 2 nights at Christmas, mainly to rest between two long hiking trips and to see penguins. We were able to see the penguins, but the rest was marred by horrible neighbors.

Great spot close to town and opposite some gorgeous rocky coastline.
Units were spot on. Lovely and clean with great decked area to relax. Friendly owner. Free use of laundry facilities which were magic considering we packed light for the motorbikes. Can recommend it highly.

Hi there is only 1 bathroom, not sure if they have any bungalows with 2? Take a look at their website for the 3-bedroom bungalow. Yes, we drove to Wineglass Bay, less than an hour and didn't join any tour. They do have a cruise which takes you to the bay by boat but quite expensive, I think over AUD200. Please note you have to walk for 1.5 hrs from the car park to the lookout to see the bay. If you want to walk right down to the beach, it takes 4-5 hrs I think, can't remember exactly. There is a sign board at the entrance of the trail telling you the walking distance. Hope this helps.
