Loved my stay here. We were in a lakefront cabin by the pond. Loved the sound of the ducks pottering around. By night we went to the little shed next to the pond to find a few brushtailed possums nibbling on some hay.
Our family of 5 stayed in a 2 bedroom bungalow for 1 night. It was a lovely, warm bungalow, like a little house with a really homely feeling. There was a queen bed in 1 bedroom and 3 singles in the 2nd room, with enough...More
We picked this place for our Grand Circle Tour of Tasmania after comparing all the hotels and their reviews and we have definitely picked the right place! The 2-bedroom bungalow (The Alpine) is exactly what it looks like in their website, if not better. Pine...More
Stayed with Bicheno by the bay for one night on our way from Hobart to Launceston. We booked a motel unit which is the most budget room of them as I remember they have one bedroom and two bedroom units with your choice. We were...More
Can't speak highly enough about this place. We stayed in Tea Tree House, a 1 bedroom self contained unit for two nights last week.

Hi there is only 1 bathroom, not sure if they have any bungalows with 2? Take a look at their website for the 3-bedroom bungalow. Yes, we drove to Wineglass Bay, less than an hour and didn't join any tour. They do have a cruise which takes you to the bay by boat but quite expensive, I think over AUD200. Please note you have to walk for 1.5 hrs from the car park to the lookout to see the bay. If you want to walk right down to the beach, it takes 4-5 hrs I think, can't remember exactly. There is a sign board at the entrance of the trail telling you the walking distance. Hope this helps.
