Huge thanks to all the staff, the venue was amazing and the rooms are gorgeous! Dinner and breakfast were delicious and it was great to have a wander around the relaxing gardens. Great to meet Baz the cat.

The Abbey had been on the bucket list for a long time, it surpassed my expectations. From the welcome & champagne to the home cooked breakfast, we were well cared for. The property oozes history and charm. Yet today it's cozy and comfortable. Definitely well worth a visit or overnight stay.

We stayed for 1 night with friends. On our arrival we received a very warm welcome by lovely hosts, and a glass of sparkling wine. A great first impression. We were shown around, and then shown to our rooms. The rooms are lovely, with a separate, comfortable, seating area. There was tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and sweets. There were...

Stayed here for a night and what little gem. The place is unique and what others have said "a journey back in time" is so correct. To add to its uniqueness, the owners are simply wonderful people. So there is nothing bad I could say about this place except I wish I had found it sooner. If you need a...

Hi Max21au Thank you for your lovely review, the comment about the owners I guess is for 'Bazil the Abbey Cat' who thinks he runs the place :). Fantastic that you enjoyed the Abbey experience and now that you have found us we hope you will visit again. Regards Mark, Sonia and Bazil

An overnight stay at the Abbey of the Roses is a must for those who appreciate history. A former convent, the Abbey of the Roses has been tastefully restored. While it is expensive to stay here, the hosts are quite careful to ensure their guests are comfortable. The complimentary port and sherry set out in the lounge room for a...

My husband took me on a surprise birthday weekend away in June to Abbey of the Roses. He couldn't have picked anywhere better. I'm just sorry it's taken so long to add our review. The Abbey and grounds are beautiful. It is truly a labour of love for Sonia and Mark who have worked so hard to restore the Abbey...
