A wonderful experience for all types of camping experience. We had a caravan site with slab right on the edge of the bush. The bird life and scenery was amazing. A very well kept park, superb amenities, ands just a 20 minute train trip to the city of Sydney. We would highly recommend this park to any visitors.

We stayed at a one bedroom cabin at the Lane Cove River Tourist Park. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. The bed was nice and there was a portable heater, in case of cold weather. We had television, hot shower, water pot for heating water, refrigerator, stove, and crockery. You only needed to get your groceries! We got blankets and...

Made this booking over the phone & the gentleman I spoke to was very helpful. Its a great park & being surrounded by National Park it has a real bush setting feel about it. It is a 8-12 minute walk to North Ryde train station so easy to get into the city. The traffic is quite overwhelming with a caravan...

An excellent and relaxed location but unfortunately that's about it. We paid nearly $200 for a nights accommodation but were disappointed with how dated the place was. The facilities for the kids are very average with a small and dated play area. Would not return

Great little get away in the the heart of Sydney. Beautiful surroundings with plenty of wildlife and and trees. The amenities are clean and fit for purpose and the grounds attractive and easy to navigate with plenty of walking and bike tracks to keep you active. Camp sites are a good size and the cost for one with power to...

A wonderful oasis in the north of the city, surrounded by bushland and wildlife. A place to park your van (they also have cabins), walk up the road to the railway station and head into town and elsewhere without the hassles of the traffic. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside is that it's under the flight path of...

Hard to believe a spot like this exists in the big bad city. Bush land setting, good facilities, very very reasonable rates for capital city park. Train station is 1.2km away by a walking route. Lots of families around for the long weekend but never felt crowded or rowdy The jet noise is very limited for the city. The background...

We spent the long weekend at Tandara with mixed feelings. The bathroom and tent are as pictured but are lacking some attention. There is mould and holes throughout so until it's fixed you should pack your aeroguard! There is no where to plug in your iPod anymore and the push bikes are no longer supplied. There is only one set...

We recently stayed 2 nights at Lane Cove River Tourist Park - we stayed in one of the family cabins. It was quite decent and more than suitable for our purpose - base to stay at and explore Sydney. The location is great and it's a 10 minute stroll to North Ryde train station. From there you can easily access...

A great find, only 20minutes to cbd by train, and the north Ryde station is an easy 700metres walk from park. Beautiful shady park, spacious caravan sites, clean amenities. Backs onto the national park, beautiful walks so close....easy access from the M2 motorway. Would recommend this park to anyone wanting to see the best of Sydney. Only drawback, you are...
