Everyone has off days but if you work in the service industry you pin a smile on and treat your guests with something bordering on politeness. From the moment we went and found the owner ( she was cleaning out the back) she let us know we were interupting her work and were being a nuisance just being there. We...

Our stay was great. The room was spotless with its own en suite, fridge, tv and coffee making facility while outside, you'll find under cover parking just out side your door, a great BBQ area and swimming pool. The family that runs the place are pleasant to talk to and helpful with lots of local knowledge. We also ate in...

Travelling with our granddaughters this Motel was the "find" of our three week road trip adventure. Our fully self contained room was clean and comfortable, the extensive grounds were well maintained and a pleasure to wander around. The owners were friendly and nothing seemed to be a problem. As for the home cooked meal, wow! Simply put: extraordinarily delicious. This...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night during our Xmas/New Years travels and were pleasantly surprised. We didn't book or look the place up we just happened to drive past and decided to have a look. What we found was a beautiful comfortable retreat with tonnes of character and some amazing home cooked meals from the diner. The...

Stayed at this motel recently whilst attending a business function in Lismore. The motel is located in the picturesque valley of Goolmangar, between Lismore and Nimbin. We found it a good base to explore Nimbin and the surrounding area. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the almost farmstay atmosphere made it a pleasant and relaxing weekend countryside stopover. Breakfast...

I stayed here with my husband, kids and father in law for a weekend in November 2011. It had just reopened with new management. Sharon and Kyle were very friendly and helpful but have a big job ahead of them to get this motel up and running. However they have lots of plans and plenty of energy so I have...

When someone spells classy with a K you know it can't be.... the same applies to this motel. With Xmas to celebrate with family in the vicinity and being conscious of drink driving laws we knew that staying in Lismore was not going to work so we stayed out here. For $80 a night we got a room with a...

“We had connecting rooms - one with three singles and another with a queen and single. Very handy for a family. The front rooms overlook the driveway but the back rooms look out over the countryside.”
