The Old Dairy buildings have been renovated using recycled materials. We stayed in the Studio for two nights. It is fairly small and has the appearance of an old shed. It lacks storage space for clothes. There is a fridge and a microwave. Would have liked a comfier chair to sit on. Claw foot bath but while everywhere was clean... More

Our family of 22 stayed at Old Leura Dairy last week for a special family celebration. From the moment we made our initial enquiries 10 months ago until we left, they have been enormously helpful, particularly Jo- so thank you for that. We had the Straw Bale house for two families, then the workers cottage for one of 6, Moo... More

This is not your generic chain hotel. Imagine a friend invites you to stay at their country home. They have renovated an old agricultural building with a modern kitchen, and relatively modern bath. The owners are environmentally aware, so there is a lot of re-use and recycling going on. You will be encouraged to compost your food scraps. If this... More

The owners appear to have turned 5 former dairy buildings into self catering units using an extraordinarily high proportion of recycled materials and furnishings. We stayed in what we found to be the inadequately small STUDIO for 2 people and our review relates only to that unit. Whilst the recycling is commendable, we felt the result would appeal to younger... More

It was our girls reunion weekend so the 8 of us stayed in the Straw Bale house. The kitchen was fully equipped ie. coffee maker, huge fridge, all necessary appliances. There was even a laundry. The lounge and dining area held us all comfortably and the fire made the place so cozy. The beds were comfortable and had great view... More

Blimey. Booked by my wife so I was shocked as we walked up to see a cow shed. She had the last laugh as we opened door as it is fantastic. Very rustic and well designed. Our first job was to light the fire. The second was to sit in hot tub just up a path. We returned to a... More

After spending two nights in 'Moo Manor' to celebrate Yulefest in the Blue Mountains I cannot rate this property any higher. From the reservation to our stay everything was perfect. Our apartment was clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and had a cozy atmosphere. We had the fire place permanently lit and couldn't wait to get back after a day of exploring.... More

We just stayed one night but wished it was a longer stay. Unique and truly a former dairy farm, we stayed in the milk shed. It was beautifully decorated with rustic touches through out yet had a modern full kitchen with espresso maker! Plenty of space for a family of four, the bed upstairs was cozy with a great night... Such a cosy, clean and automatically comfortable place to stay, with a cute jar of jam to enjoy! Staff super friendly however there is PLENTY of privacy. Stayed in the Buttercup Barn with the fireplace, bath and the loft style bedroom with a nice view. One tip - don't throw an extra large log on the fire before bedtime -... More
