I have attended maybe 5/6 Dress Up Balls at this venue and have been impressed with all of them as a whole. Ive had a few complaints over the years but i have always been happy with the food and the service from staff. The Art Deco style of the building is always a joy to experience and generally you...

We visited this hotel from last trip to Katoomba, luckily we made the booking. We do love the old fashion looking, though the bath and toilet are shared on each floor, bot scared to have shower alone at night. Free brekky (hot food is excluded, you can order separately) is included within the reservation, convenient location towards Blue mountain tourist...

Beautiful building but the reception staff were quite unfriendly. Don't be fooled by booking your room with breakfast included, it is nothing more than a continental breakfast. Just couldn't get over how unfriendly the woman on reception was upon our arrival. Definitely wouldn't consider staying there again.

We had a beautiful time at The Carringhton. We booked a room for three and had dinner in the grand dining room. The place was comfy, staff friendly and the food was really great. The cost a little bit higher than the completion but justified. Despite the warm weather, as Europeans the look of the hotel made us feel the...

2 nights stay in this wonderfully olde worldy hotel. Rooms fabulous, comfortable, not modern but unique. Fantastic spacious reception areas, bars and ante rooms. Nice Christmas feel. Recommend this venue.

My wife and I recently spent 2 nights at The Carrington which was a few days short of what we could have if we had the time. What an absolutely wonderful old building steeped in history. Very large, comfortable rooms and an amazing experience. From the old lift to the staircases, high ceilings, paintings and photos on the wall, every...

A night or two at the Carrington Hotel in Katoomba is a not to be missed experience. The rooms are comfortable and huge, with modern bathrooms all at a reasonable cost. The common rooms such as the dining room, bar, lounge room, billiard room, library take you back to the opulence of the past. Katoomba itself is full of surprises....

The Carrington is one of my favourite places to stay in the Blue Mountains. Authentically ornate Victorian, a visit to the Carrington is like a step back in time (like the Hydro Majestic used to be). While quaintly creaky in places and maze-like in others, it is the rooms that bring the 1920s alive. Many of the rooms have been...

We stayed there for 2 nights and it is a wonderful stay. The hotel has beautiful décor and looks so grand. We had a premium room with spa and it is spacious. Efficient staff at reception and at the restaurant. The complimentary continental breakfast is real good. You can order hot breakfast with an extra amount. But the continental breakfast...

This place is truly unique and beautiful with it's 1920 Art Deco style, that has been classily refurbished and dressed. We were lucky enough to have High Tea here and it was a delightful high quality affair with delicious fresh morsels of tasty fine quality! The ambience is beautiful, great place to look around.
