Located near the centre of Katoomba, this is a great place to stay. Very reasonably priced for the Blue Mountains. There is are common areas inside and out to meet other travellers. Rooms are clean and breakfast is provided. Would stay again!

A lovely hostel and I definitely recommend it. It's a small hostel in an old style house which creates a great cosy and homely atmosphere. The staff are really friendly and social people, they and the owner are great at providing info on things to do in the area. The hostel provides a lot of nice small things free which...

I visited july 2015 , on arrival, the reception was gracious enough to inform of the free upgrade to a room for 2. It is a clean hostel with warm lounge room for social hours. free breakfast was great and the kitchen was good to cook albeit a bit small. The people in this hostel were a bit reserved with...

This is a true backpacker's hostel. Very communal vibe and it seems like people stay for awhile. Ross, the owner, was very helpful with information and a couple of rides around town when needed. The rest of the staff was hard to pin down and it was hard to tell who worked there versus was just staying there. Great information...

Stayed in the women's dorm. It was bad luck that the weather was atrocious and it was raining solidly for several days. But there was no ventilation and it was stifling. Someone had a heater on all night and people were drying clothes in there. The only window is a large sliding door which cannot be opened for obvious reasons....

Went to stay for 5 nights, stayed for a month. The hostel is small and chilled out, with a warm atmosphere. You end up knowing everyone by name. Made so many good friends! Whatever you wanna do in the blue mountains ask Ross and he'll sort you out. The hostel is close to everything in katoomba so getting there is...

I stayed here for 3 days to fill some time before heading to South East Asia and was very glad I did! It has a very chilled vibe, and the owner Ross is really knowledgable about the area and gives great advice on what activities to get involved in. Really good value too given the prices of hostels in the...

This is the most home away from home feeling you can get, and at the most reasonable price too. People are encouraged to talk to one another instead of their facebook "friends". This creates an atmosphere truly rare in most hostels, you really get to know people a bit, even if you only stay for a week. There are pizza,...

Been there for two nights, staff very friendly. They have a strong policy of no-screens at common space in certain hours. Wifi was not very good, sometimes working sometimes not working. Sadly, the laundry machine was broken that time. I would stay again there.

Stayed 2 nights in a female dorm. Very nice atmosphere, everybody is friendly, sociable and hang out in the common areas. The staff helped me book a canyoning trip for the next day after my arrival. Hostel isa short walk from the train station.
