I liked the live music and bar I also liked the buffet breakfast in the morning before our hikes. I would 100% stay here again. Lots of room inside the hotel, our room was pretty small, but it honestly didn't bother us because we didn't spend all day inside the room, only slept there. It's only a 15 minute stroll...

A cozy hotel with character! We just spent the weekend staying here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The food was good breakfast and dinner and the rooms comfortable. The highlight was the live music! Great entertainment at the downstairs pub! Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Myself and my daughter, stayed here during the Long Weekend in October. The common rooms are very beautiful and quaint. There is a a good vibe about this place. There seems a lot of history. The staff are polite and very very helpful, they couldn't be faulted. The position is great, being around the corner from the main street and...

We stayed here for 3 nights. Room was clean, beds comfortable. The English breakfast was included and was welcome fuel for all the hiking we did. The hotel had live music on the Thursday and Friday night but it was finished by 8.30 pm so it didn't intrude. The jazz on Friday night was a refreshing change actually. The staff...

What a find in Katoomba! A great night out in a classy restaurant with the songs of Lady Day: Billie Holiday w/ Susan Gai Dowling, Carl Dewhurst & Lloyd Swanton. The meal and entertainment for $59 per person was exceptional value. A great night and more to come at this great venue in the mountains.

My wife son and I stayed here for two nights while we did some hiking in the area. We spent the nights playing chess & pool by the fire place enjoying simple but nice food from the kitchen. The included breakfast was a special treat, Sunday mornings buffer was accompanied by some cool live music from a local duo. A...

We stayed here for three nights. Very economical stay. Lovely old world charm and delightful staff. The full breakfast was a bonus and was included in the price of the room. We enjoyed playing pool on one of the nights and listening to a jazz musician on another night. The cosy fires were a bonus.

We booked what we thought was a 3 1/2* hotel so we knew it wasn't going to be flash but the online photos of the rooms looked nice so we were expecting it to be a bit old fashioned but comfortable. To start with the hotel is in the middle of a renovation - the kind of renovation where they...
