We stayed here for 3 nights to explore the blue mountains. Perfect location to use as a base and within walking distance to the town and echo point - which is good so you don't have to pay for parking there! The room was clean and room service kept us topped up everyday. The shower was great! The cooked breakfast...

We found this hotel convenient and the location was very close to the town centre and all the cafes. Really good value, very clean and quiet, the staff could not have been more helpful. The breakfast buffet was superb and plenty of it.

I stayed for three nights in a 'King' room. It was very comfortable, quite large, spotlessly clean with a refurbished bathroom. Perhaps the ageing fridge could be renewed and coat hangers used in the wardrobe instead of hooks, are my only complaints. Breakfast was generous with plenty of options. Staff friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

I attended an Album Launch for my nephew a few weeks ago at Hotel Blue and the place was packed. We were able to order food and drinks at the bar and I had ordered a Chorizo pizza and after what seemed ages and wondering if perhaps we'd been forgotten, the chef herself had appeared with my pizza apologising for...

This is not a 3-star hotel in my opinion and I really wanted to like this place because of their dedication to the local music scene and the quirkiness of the building. Tons of character in main room with details like fireplaces, coved ceilings and period furniture made it quirky but the sleeping rooms were in serious disrepair. Our window...

Stayed for 2 nights in november '16. The hotels location was good near downtown Katoomba with lots of restaurants nearby and about 10-15min walk to the Three Sisters and the surrounding national park with great hiking trails. The hotels 1920's -theme was nice with live jazz music in the hotels lounge during weekends. However the hotels general appearance was somewhat...

I stayed for one night on a Friday. I wanted to stay for a second night but it was booked out. What can I say...it's different and I loved it. Sure it's old and very basic but I stayed there for the evening Jazz entertainment. It's relaxed and very well behaved with music and a little bar. Sitting in a...

The room was spacious with a 70's ensuite. King bed was very comfortable and Room 1 was quiet even though the old building creaked. We didn't hear any traffic or other guests during the night. House keeping needs more attention to detail! We loved the atmosphere of the hotel, the cooked breakfast and the Thursday night entertainment with dinner.

We were lucky to get a great deal off travel auction so unlike some of the other reviews I feel like I can't complain too much in actual fact we loved it. On arrival we were shown our room which faced the main road which we found too noisy so we asked for a back room which they happily changed...

Hotel is ok. Old with lots of mismatched wooden furniture. Our room was reasonable size but windows were single glazed (in Blue Mountains!) and rattled. Housekeeping was poor - had to ask for shampoo / clean cups etc. They could also do with cleaning a little more thoroughly - there were spilt drinks stains on the skirting boards by the...
