The hotel was an average budget one. The TV and Air Conditioner remotes were missing/broken. Ask for help and they just moved me to a better room for the inconvenience. The first room I was in was was very old, disgusting and broken. It looked like some one already slept on the bed before me and they didn't clean up....

The room has a lovely view of Lake Jindabyne and is large but not so clean and a shocker of a bed. Lumpy with very, very heavy bedspread. When it was cooler in the night there was no way you could pull the bedspread up. It was a winter bedspread left on the bed in the middle of summer. I...

I travelled all day on my motorcycle, 650k's but took the long way to the Snowy. The roads leading into Cooma and Jindabyne are brilliant. The pub area was quite good with lots of atmosphere, however the beer was not cheap at $8.00 a schooner but was refreshing after a long ride. The room was pretty good at $100 per...

The rooms at the Banjo Patterson Inn are lovely and roomy with lots of storage space and plates, cutlery, microwave etc. The views of the lake were lovely too. The only downside is the noise - both of the people next door and the people at the pub downstairs.

Hello Anne, Thank you for your review. I apologise for the noise, we had a 70th Birthday Party the night of your stay and the locals certainly know how to celebrate! During the Summer months we are generally very quiet however the pub downstairs can get noisy during winter. It is great you enjoyed your stay at our hotel and...

Lots of families eat here so hence noise. Also trivia game being played in eating area with guy asking questions using microphone. This was rather annoying for us eating our meals and talking to each other as it was distracting. Meals were fine for me. Calamari which was tender and I had pumpkin salad which was good. Hubby's steak was...

Hello, Thank you for your review of Clancy's Brasserie. A Tuesday night is very loud with Trivia on from 6.30pm onwards. Trivia is always very popular so we regularly book out of tables in the bistro. However, if you opt not to play, it is much nicer to enjoy a peaceful dinner upstairs in the bar and additional dining area....

Room was lovely with a view overlooking lake. Staff friendly. Had dinner in the restaurant. Quick service and food was good. Very efficient. Breakfast was included in our price, and was more than enough. Bathroom in room was a little tired looking, but overall, a very enjoyable stay.

We came for a pub lunch and to try the 'Vat to Tap' brewed beer they have on site, and produce in the basement. I must say this beer tastes exceptionally fresh, and so much better then the bottled version I find in Sydney. The Burger was big and tasty to compliment the cold Kosicuoszko Pale Ale.

Hello EuroBry, That's great you enjoyed the fresh brewed Kosciuszko Pale Ale fresh from the Vat - it is a very popular drop! We also have seasonal beers, at the moment we have a Wheat Beer on tap which is also very delicious. When you are next in the area please stop by and our Licensee can take you of...

We stayed at the Banjo Paterson Inn to use the hotel as a base camp to walk up to Mt Kosciuszko from Charlotte Pass.
