Central to all the main shops, restaurants, cafes and bars in Cooma. Neat and tidy and very clean with fast free WiFi. Unexpected delight to find our windshield clean at no charge the next morning ... Definately will stay here again when next passing through!

Seems to be recently refurbished. We found it a bit cramped but was ok. We would stay here again so that means something. We did not eat here so no comment on that. The bed was fine for us and the room was very clean.

I'm always pretty lenient with my reviews on places, but if you want a good nights sleep, stay elsewhere. The beds here are the worst I've ever slept on. I myself and my whole family (wife, 9 and 3 yr old boys) all had sore backs when waking up. Also got here after reception closed (8pm), and there was no...

This motel appears to have been fully refurbished recently. Bathroom was a totally new tiling and fit out, room had a microwave and fridge plus good wifi. Room was clean, as was all outdoor spaces, no dreaded smell of past smoker occupation. Included in the deal was a $10 breakfast for each of us, bacon and 2 eggs for myself,...

Such a friendly reception, professionally shown our room which was well appointed and clean and comfortable. The motel is on top of the hill but close enough to walk to the Alpine Hotel where there is a good restaurant. We were impressed by our stay at the Altair with its reasonable rates and the complimentary bacon egg breakfast. I have...

We stayed 4 nights at the Altair and were very comfortable despite husband breaking his foot on way into Cooma. Lovely people went out of their way to help us. Motel is recently renovated and love the seating/BBQ platform. Town and shops very conveniently situated just down the road. We will certainly come back but under better circumstances I hope!

Very clean and modern after a recent total renovation. Our room (twin) was very roomy and well equipped with fridge microwave and cooktop. Nice elevated bbq/drink area too. Reception were very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic little find in Cooma. Freshly renovated, very clean room with high pressured showers. Helpful staff that go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. This is my second visit and it won't be my last.

Recommend. Great location, clean tidy rooms, friendly service, good price, newly renovated rooms, walking distance to Cooma Ex Services club with delicious food. Good place to stay on your way to or from the snow. New BBQ platform with views over Cooma

My family and I needed a place to stay on our way to Thredbo. We only needed one night. The motel was clean and had clearly only just been renovated. I would stay there again as it satisfied our needs. I found the bed too hard but other people may like a hard bed. Would recommend.
