An older style motel that is more than suitable for an overnight stay. Bed was comfortable, electric blanket, basic heating (that could be improved), clean with no noise from road or nearby rooms, undercover spacious free designated parking at door, friendly hosts. Ensuite had awesome hot water. Overall good value for money road trip accommodation.

This is an older style motel. Stayed here for one night. The owners were nice. The room was spacious enough but out dated. The electric blanket didn't work on the bed making it for a cool and not a very comfortable nights sleep as it was a very cold night. Overall I seen that there were nicer motels with cheaper...

We stayed here for 1 night with our young children while passing through town. I found the motel and called when we were on the road on the day we were wanting to checkin. We weren't due in until late afternoon and the hosts were very welcoming. I had mentioned when I called up that I would be bringing a...

Stayed at the Alkira for 3 nights and found it to be a reasonable sized room with a small table and 2 chairs. A double bed and a small kitchen area with a sink to wash up your cups etc. Also breakfast nooks for your breakfast tray to be placed in if you require. The decor is very 70s with louvred...

We recently stayed here on two separate occasions and will be happy to stay again when the opportunity arises. The hostess Mona is most obliging, ready to chat and helpful, the motel rooms and garden surrounds are well maintained, clean with all the facilities tired travellers hope for. Parking is undercover and convenient. Situated on the main highway through Cooma,...

After a long drive at the last minute we decided to stay in Cooma, driving along the main strip coming into town we spotted this motel. It's a little outdated but the room was comfortable. Parking available just outside the door. The towels weren't the usual boring white ones, extra pillows and blankets available, cold water and ice and a...

Its cheap, very clean and friendly staff. Close to an excellent pub and restaurants. Has free parking and a bbq area near the front. It was a warm day and our room was cooled down before we got there. Excellent service.

A good option for those wanting to break the journey down to the snow - clean, friendly and accommodating of a very late arrival. The room was comfortable rather than luxury (by any means) but warm and welcoming after a long drive out of the Sydney traffic.
