Fantastic food , very helpful staff , extensive knowledge of area. The rooms were clean , adequate and quiet . Compared to other facilities in Queenstown , the silver hills is head and shoulders above the competition.

Compared to other properties where we paid a similar price to the $115 per room we paid here, the facilities were not as good at Silver Hills. Parking was difficult because staff had used the space allocated for our room. They did shift a car when we requested but we should not have been placed in that position. We had...

Thanks for your review. Because of your pre-advised immobility issues we allocated you into a ground floor room as close as possible to reception and the restaurant. This room is perhaps on the smallish side but we were conscious to recognise your requests. Upon your arrival, the usual spot outside of your room had been inadvertently taken by a local...

I need to travel to the West Coast often for work, I have found the Silver Hills to best hotel stay in Queenstown. Other hotels offer accommodation without the service. The management and staff at Silver Hills are friendly and obliging. The meals are delicious and fantastic, they offer a hot breakfast if needed, rooms are clean and tidy value...

We had the most amazing week at this absolutely fantastic Queenstown property, Silver hills. So good i had to write about it as soon as i got home. We ended up staying a full week to take in most of the sights and experiences the beautiful West Coast of Tasmania has to offer. And Queenstown. What a gem of a...

We originally arrived here as all better reviewed motels in Queenstown were full. Although the roon was old, it was clean and comfortable although a bit smaller than I would have liked. We had booked this motel through Wotif, but when we wanted one more day, they reduced the price from $111.75 including wotif charges to $99 for the extra...

Came to Queenstown to do the West Coast Wilderness Railway (which was fantastic) and stayed at Silver Hills Motel for two nights. The Motel was walking distance to the train and main street but still quite. Our room was clean and tidy, spacious and affordable. The resturant is the nicest in town and food was great and a lot of...

This is a 3 star motel on the outskirts of the town in a quite environment. The room was clean and quite large and included a desk to work on. The bedding was good for sleeping. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure. We were greeted in a friendly and courteous manner by the owner and our check in...

This motel is excellent in all respects, friendliness and helpfulness of staff, a very comfortable double bed, a brilliant walk-in shower, lashings of hot water and you can park your vehicle right outside your room, no walking a long way from car park to your accommodation. Congratulations and thanks to James and Debbie Gardner and their staff for a wonderful...

Great service, food, comfortable rooms and laundry. We got in late, chef stayed on and presented an awesome meal. Kids were catered for with a brilliant menu, that included steak- not a nugget in sight!

An older-style motel, but they all seem to be in Queenstown! The restaurant has great views, and a small children's playarea in the corner was a nice touch (its a large restaurant, so you could easily choose a table away from the kids!). Room had plenty of power-points and free wifi. Staff were very friendly and helpful - nothing at...
