The estimable Wainwright has little good to say about Danby Wiske, but Ashfield House proves him wrong! A warm welcome and outstanding accommodations greet the weary Coast-to-Coast hiker, including (in our case, at least) a great bathtub and muscle-pampering bubble liquid.
Bags of experience helping Coast to Coasters. Great en suite bedroom, breakfast and packed lunch. Friendly welcome and lots of support. Close to local pub for evening meal. We really enjoyed our stay here.
