Like many other travellers have experienced lately, unfortunately more negatives than positives. During reservation process we weren't advised that two of the three pool were closed, no restaurant open and that there was major maintenance work going on. The day before our arrival we were told that our spa was broken and wouldn't be fixed in time. We were given...

We stayed here between 29th April through to the 2nd May for our wedding anniversary and expected a relaxing weekend in paradise and although overall the holiday was great we had several things that frustrated us. The good points included the location is which amazing, the view from the apartment is to die for and if the pool was operational...

My friends and I stayed here for a week in a 4 person apartment. We had a number of things to complain about so we ended up taking notes (sad I know). Heres some of the things we noticed... Good: The room was super comfy, very spacious and the view was amazing! (had to pay extra for a room with...

Stayed here for a girls weekend in a two bedroom apartment. Very large and spacious with 2 bathrooms and full kitchen. Excellent view. Room was dated but clean and did the job for us. Light breakfast included which is only cereal and toast but good if you were on a budget. Only downfall was we were told prior to coming...

The good: The room was spacious with beautiful sea views. The jacuzzi was a great addition to the balcony and the room was a great size. The bad: After calling on three separate occasions to ask if the pool would be open, we were promised that it would be. Only to get there and be told it would be out...

Although the cyclone. I'd have expected some service, not none. Overpriced $350 per night. Unhelpful staff. Glass and rubbish, leaves and branches were left in the fire stairwells for all. Lifts were out of order, fire alarms in our rooms were on our side tables and no one on staff cared at all. It was a backpackers nightmare. However we...

The location is excellent. Really close to the hub of Airlie without the noise. Supermarket right across the road. Great views, and a nice big veranda to take in the views. The apartment (#47) was quite dated and could use a fresh coat of paint throughout, but it was big and well equipped for a self catered type holiday. The...

The hotel is about 250 m from the waters edge, so they need to change their name, or simply add the words "Not"!!!! The view is stunning, ignoring the noisy roads below. The room was good and customer service excellent. But we later found the Coral Sea Resort which was looked beautiful. But only had lunch there. So I think...

This little hotel wasn't what I expected, but I was very happy with it overall. Emma from reception was lovely, attentive and always happy to help. I was lucky enough to be place in one of the best rooms of the hotel, we absolutely loved the views and I am very grateful for that. The only couple of things I...
