The rooms are okay with pretty good en-suite bathrooms. Other than that, this hostel is run-down, the staff is not very friendly, there is literally no atmosphere at all, like already mentioned in the title, just a place for sleeping.
My family got evacuated before the cyclone and had no where to go the YHA in Airlie beach offered us a room to stay they took all the precautions and kept everyone safe thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality.
