I highly recommend the Patagonia Baker Lodge for fishing and lodging. This was my first trip down to Patagonia and could not have been happier for stumbling across the Baker. Rafeal (the lodge manager) was an incredible guide that always went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and that we were maximizing the day's potential. The...

Rafeal was introduced as a wonderful person to take you out far a days fishing in Patagonia. I spent a full day in the company of Rafeal who knows the Rio Baker like the back of his hand. We had such a lovely day with lots of success, and not forgetting the perfect barbecue lunch on the river side.

My first, and hopefully not my last, stay in PATAGONIA BAKER LODGE was a truly remarkable experience. The lodge is right in the middle of the chilean Patagonia in a very secluded forest right at the edge of River Baker, which is a unique, clear emerald water big river known for the best trout fly fishing in all of Patagonia....

These guys know where the big fish are. Prime location near most of the best places to catch wild trout in the region. Dry, nymph, streamers, leaders from 0x to 5x, you will use them all. A must for the advance angler.

We spent two fantastic nights over Christmas (24/12-26/12) at this amazing place. On arrival we were welcomed by the Rafael, the manager, who guided us to the cosy lounge where we were treated to a jug (!) of pisco sour and some delicious snacks, including some salmon that he had just caught - yum!. The views from the lounge are...

The lodge is located right on the banks of the Rio Baker, one of Chile's most important rivers. It is an amazing blue color and is clear as can be. Certainly one of the most beautiful rivers I have ever seen. The lodge is a simple hotel catering to fishermen. It is comfortable, clean, well appointed and quiet. We were...

This lodge is located on the side of the mighty Rio Baker. In simple words the location is absolutely top. The lodge isn't extremely luxury but for sure very comfortable. Rooms are spacious with good beds and OK bathrooms. The common area is very nice with superb views on the Rio Baker. Service is very good, but the kitchen is...

We arrived unannounced looking for a room and the manager enticed us with a free bottle of wine as we baulked at the nightly room rate. But tired and frustrated we treated ourselves to a room with a view of the glorious Rio Baker and its snowcapped mountain backdrop. I think if you are a keen fisherman or have a...

This small, super friendly fly fishing lodge is great for all. The fishing is the best on the Rio Baker. The chef is amazing. All the rooms face the river and are clean & cozy. Have fun!
