I will never go back. The environment is very nice but the owner of the hotel should not run a hotel. She has no clue what hospitality means. Worst hotel I've ever been. And... you book with A/C, but it will never work because the breakers will be taken off since they want to keep their cost cheap. So ridiculous!...

These guests went to town to have dinner and when they got back to the hotel, they asked our security guy for glasses and ice because they wanted to continue celebrating their birthday. They were drinking and talking loud in the garden area, lobby and started running up and down the stairs until three o´clock in the morning. There were...

If you want to celebrate your birthday and go as a family, don't go.. the owner has zero understanding and is super rude. And don't think your room will have A/C when you book with it. They turn the breakers off. The client is king in a hotel and restaurant business, here you will be dirt. Way too pricey for...

We had a fabulous lunch at Casa Coson the other day. Excellent food! Friendly owners and nice staff! Perfect setting right on the beach. The vegetarian dish was fantastic. Looking forward to going back next week. Highly recommended.

It is a beautiful place in front of the beach; with gardens... but for what you get it is too expensive. they have small sort of villas; and rooms inside the big house. we rented one of these villas, and asked to be changed; since it was full of mice. they gave us one of the rooms inside the house....

Although we stayed at a nearby villa, we came to Cafe Coson almost every day either for lunch or a cold beer after a lengthy walk on the most fabulous beach. We noticed that the grounds were well kept. The hamburger was delicious along with the pizza and the seafood pasta. Our grandchildren loved their homemade ice cream. Our daily...

The Hotel is located hidden on one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. The owner Jerome and Sophia are the sweetest ever. Great contact before arriving via email. Sophia gave us already some tips what to do and how to get there. We arrived by car. The last 10 min you have to take a rough road....

We took our children and grandchildren to Casa Cason for a perfect family vacation. There was something for everyone, beach, pool, miles of private coast to hike, run, explore, collect shells, build sandcastles, and take in the breathtaking sunrise and sunsets. One can feel one's shoulders relax the minute you arrive as Sophie and Jerome generously take care of every...

From the moment you set one foot on the premices, you are taking care of. This is a small boutique hotel perfectly located near Las Terrenas (10 mns away by car). The hotel is on a very beautiful beach which is never too crowded and makes you feel like at peace at all times. The rooms were as expected, spacious...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Charming small residence directly on the marvelous beach of Coson. The residence was built with love and understanding of the natural beauty around it by it's owners. The long and crystal clear waters of Playa Coson and the evergreen of the mountains in the back makes this place unique and wonderful where you can spend your next holidays. Once here you will not want to leave... The main house has 4 private beachfront bedrooms. The Villa Colonial is a replica of a Victorian Style house with four bedrooms and private kitchen. It has been finely decorated with nice furniture and colorful tissues. In the back there is a magical round private Casita Mexicana. The swimming pool is in the middle of the residence. The garden has long chairs, hammocks, private seating with sun covers, tables to play chess or cards. There is also a first class restaurant that serves delicious juices, drinks and French, Italian and International cuisine. It also has a traditional oven for pizzas. You can enjoy a massage in the gazebos's garden or in your room or you can walk for four miles surrounded by hundreds of coconut trees, golden sand and refreshing water. What are you waiting for?
