When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the owners; a very relaxed and charming couple, and there dogs... The villa is a true oasis!! Beautiful decor!! The moment we entered I felt at home... gorgeous room with ambient lightning (see picture). The villa was spic and span. The breakfast is delicious with home made cakes and breadpudding... the best...

We honeymooned at Casa La Nouba in September 2013 and had a wonderful time. The home is modern, open, airy, and beautiful. We stayed in the upstairs room with the private balcony overlooking the pool and the sea. Incredible. Our room was cleaned and turned daily and was spotless. Tamalu is a great hostess and made us feel welcome. (It's...

It was wonderful house with amazing view of sea. Owners were very friendly, helpful with advice where to go and what is worth to see. And as we like animals, it was funny to watch their pack of dogs. We really enjoyed our stay there. Marcela

I had stayed in Terrenas many times before as I am a local living abroad. For this trip with my girlfriend I wanted a different experience and Casa La Nouba was just that. Beautiful house, with beautiful views, accessible to the beach and pueblo de los pescadores, and anything you could want for a lovely getaway. Would definitely come back...

'Mi casa es su casa' is the motto of this superb B&B. The owners made us feel at home from the first minute we arrived. The lady of the house pampered us with home-made cookies and pie, and gave us some good advice for exploring the Samana peninsula. The B&B is a bit remote, but the facilities are unremarkable (design...

As beautiful as it looks in the pictures. Hosts are super nice, and their breakfast is yummy. Only possible downside is that the place is in a gated community, so it takes a little while to find it on the first go-round (hint: it's at the end of the street; keep driving). Could not be more highly recommended.

“Deluxe room was very nice, but I would request to not have the one on the main floor. It is the only one, but you have the housekeeper and the workers walking in front of your room (which is a ceiling to floor window) in the morning. So no privacy.”
