Our stay was pleasant. Villas are well equiped, a/c working fine. Price OK. My only disappointed was that they ONLY TAKE CASH. What a shame and anger at the time of check out...!!! Their excuse is that their credit card machine "is broken". How long has it been broken??? Only God knows!

My family and I stayed at the villas recently and they appeared to be spacious and very nice. After getting settled I realized the room was a little warm so I wanted to turn on the air conditioner but it was already on and very low. There was no remote or anything to change the setting and make it higher....

We had a family vacation here during the new year and enjoyed the place every minute. The townhouses are well equipped although not luxurious but with pretty details like paintings, woodcarvings, etc. We stayed in a three bedroom unit and it was very comfortable, with two full bathrooms (downstairs and upstairs) and basic yet comfy living room and kitchen and...

An absolutely lovely hotel in a great location. The owner was very sweet and accommodating and got us a room at the last minute on a holiday weekend. For a very affordable price of around $70, we had our own little room with a kitchen and patio. It felt very private, down a path with high hedges and with our...

We got here at 8:00pm. We couldn't easily find this place because poor lighting around here. When we asked to front desk lady about the hotel room available, she was just leaving. But she took care of us. She was very kind and she can speak English well. Only one room available. We were lucky. Room was good. Full kitchen,...

The hotel consist of two bedroom villas or studios. The villas has a full kitchen, and this place is meant for you to bring food to cook or buy it locally. Purchased food to prepare at local market which had pretty much everything. Then went to the beach and bought fresh lobster and shrimp. We had a feat for 8...

The villas are still lovely and the grounds beautiful, but some updating is needed. The kitchen sink leaked but was fixed promptly. There is very little silverware, knives, or cooking pots. Although my reservation was confirmed, my casita was occupied when I arrived. I was moved 3 times in 3 weeks. Standing water is a problem which produces millions of...

Villa Mariposa is located right in the heart of Las Terrenas and just a 5 minute walk to the beach, Pueblo de Pescadores where are restaurants, bars, grocery store, and shops. The villas are very clean and the staff is very friendly. There are a lot of places to go. so I´d preffer to stay in Villas Mariposas than in...

The villas are clean, close to the beach, on beautiful landscaped grounds. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. There are fresh baguettes in the morning and shrimp to buy and cook in your kitchen if you want, and even dancing on some evenings. We stayed in a 2bedroom casita for 3 weeks that is part of villas Mariposa...
