Had the pleasure of staying here last week just for 1 night as a trial with 2 small children. Couldn’t have been happier with the villa that we stayed in everything we needed was there. The location is very convenient with a shop, take away and the happy camper restaurant all within a minutes walk. Will definitely be returning hopefully for longer. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had booked for five nights but knew immediately this was not for us. This campsite offers cabin style pods, little self contained units , hook ups for touring vans and tent pitches . The first three are perfect but we were intending to camp in a tent. Unfortunately the tent area is in the middle of the site overlooked by all and no where near where you park. The tent pitches have no views and are next to a play area. Having said the above you should know the site is clean and well equipped and staff very friendly and helpful. We were able to swap our five nights camping for one night in a pod and move on. If you have kids it seems safe and fun but if not and you are keen on rural simple camping like us then maybe look elsewhere as this does not showcase the beautiful Donegal.

stayed here at the weekend with sister and 4 kids. we rented out the belle tent for €35 per night. Communism showers which are free and a fully equipped kitchen microwave fridge kettle toaster and oven which is all free. Quite a large playground. the little pancake cafe is beautiful and not expensive. kids can have 4 mini pancakes a drink and a bar for only 3.50. The staff are so friendly and helpful. only downfall was the astro pitch which they charge €3.00 per child and it closes at 6. the take away on site is also lovely. There is no eletric for tents unless you take a motor home bay. For us to pitch our own tent for 2 a and 3k is €30 which I found a bit expensive as we stayed in stand hill last week and it was only 28 and that was with eletric.overall a lovely stay.
