The villa was brand new, really well designed. The only things were a daft and over-complicated combo oven / microwave which we couldn't get to work properly and the ladder access to the bunks was very hard to navigate for a grown up. The rungs are round topped - even the kids hurt their feet. The ladder faces an end board at the top which you have to climb over and its not easy to do. Lastly the tops of the ladder uprights protrude and as a result when descending, your shorts get caught so half way down you are hanging by your shorts leg and it's a fall waiting to happen. Needs a re-think on this ladder. Apart from that we just loved it. The villa, kids play facilities, cafe - all of it was just lovely. The site is clean and tidy and safe. Needs more parking for the

Nothing stopping anyone coming in and driving around the campsite. Didn’t feel secure/safe like on other sites. Should be some sort of barrier system for campers/caravans. Open to the public to wander around, use facilities which are 2 toilets for each gender and no urinals in males toilets!!! Showers are also a bit of a joke- no privacy, shower curtain and then out into a communal area to change which again anyone can walk into. Hubby went to take a shower and couldn’t as the Astro turf pitch had been hired out and the men had taken over the shower room as their dressing room. I think at €40 per night (touring caravan 2adults,2 children and 2 infants) this is crazy. Pitches are hilly and not all are suitable to awnings, kerb stones lining the pitches are a nuisance as they

I can’t fault the site or the staff as both were excellent, however. If you have mid teenagers, particularly girls, there really isn’t much for them to do. The facilities are clean and the staff are very helpful. There is a great playground and football pitch for younger kids. The pitch and putt in my opinion is wasted space. I’ve seen about 3 families use it since we’ve been here. I think crazy golf would be better suited and more people would use it. This would free up a lot more space for tent pitches and possibly more caravan spots. (Entirely my own opinion) Again, I can’t fault the site, it just wasn’t for us.
