My wife and I have been fortunate enough to have made several trips to the Cancun/Tulum area over the past few years. We were tiring of the All-Inclusive experience and were looking for something more intimate. I found Villa Dolce Vita and we are glad we did! This was the best week we’ve ever spent on vacation. Up until the... More

If you are looking for conglomerate, 24/7 waiter service, loud music and lots of action and partying, you do not belong in this place. If you are looking for quiet, simple time and lots of relaxation and you fully understand what a bed and breakfast is, then by all means experience this lovely place. The owners are near enough for... More

When we stayed with Chris & Connie this past March we celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary, 9th year staying at Villa Dolce Vita, also for one week we enjoyed the company of another couple that has stayed with Chris and Connie for 9 years. The rooms are wonderful and kept very clean. If you want peace and quiet this is... More

Beach is steps away, breakfast always great, hosts have become our friends, protected bay with a reef out front. I could go on so I will, nice long beach for people who like to walk, yet, the whole bay is not a hotel zone so you don't see a lot of people go by when you are catching those warm... More

We came here to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We wanted to go to some place that was peaceful and not a lot of people around. This was our 1st vacation with just the two of us in 23 years, so we wanted some “us” time. Villa Dolce Vita was definitely the perfect fit for this! I had never been out... More

My wife and I just returned from a five day stay at Villa Dolce Vita. It is lovely spot facing East right on the sea. Being early risers, we usually watched the sun rise and the pelicans diving for fish right in front of us. Other birds treated us to morning serenades. I would then enjoy an early skinny dip... Soliman Bay is one of the most beautiful, and best protected bays, between Cancun and Tuluum. Very few people have visited Soliman Bay because all of the beach is private and dotted with privately owned homes and one tiny boutique hotel. When you come to the entrance road to the bay you are met by a security guard who will... More

My husband and I just got back from a week at Villa Dolce Vita, our second time there, and we had a truly enjoyable vacation. Our first time here was January 2007 and it was one of those places that we said we would be back. We travel to different countries and locations so this was our first trip back... More

“We had the lower room because of back & knee issues. We loved it! It has a little air conditioner if it's too muggy or the wildlife are too loud. (We had a couple of crickets serenade us every night at the back door)”
